What do u think..

Ma dah mula bising sikit sebab saya tak menunjukkan sebarang perancangan perkahwinan..
"Ingat 8 bulan tu lame ker huh", terdengar suara2 mereka yang baru abis majlis kahwin. inai kat kuku pun pekat lagi..

So, I did a little research for wedding cards. Visited this website. We thought the cards are quite economical and nice. Until we stumbled into this website. For the price of less than RM1 per piece, we came across some nice cards. Here are some of it.

Choice 1

Choice 2

Choice 3

Choice 4

We prefer either choice 1 or choice 2..
I like Choice 4.. It looks different from ordinary wedding cards. But the space is limited. So Choice 4 isn't a choice at all. hehe

I read a chat forum about wedding cards. Most of them agreed that RM2-RM4 for wedding card is very cheap. I mean, their intonations were liked
"Rm2 only!!! That's very cheap man!!"

Call me a cheapskate, but I think RM2 for wedding cards is just too expensive. If you are inviting 1000 people, meaning it's RM2K for wedding cards only. Anyway, do you keep those wedding cards you received? I know I didn't. Once attended, I put the card in between the old newspaper stacks. Well, I guess money isn't a concern for rich, wealthy people. It's affordable for them.

Sis Yana asked me to check out this website regarding doorgifts. Tetriss Glass tu cute kan? Sis Yana nak sponsor ker? hehe.. Some people go all out about wedding doorgifts. I want something simple that the guests can use it and not just toss it away after attended the reception. Simple, nice yet economical. Any ideas?

frankly speaking, i like either choice 1 or 2 too. first, it has to be economical. i like simple, sweet cards. i don't like the fancy ones because goodness gracious, i will not keep it. i will just throw it away. choice no 4? i thought it was a bit serabut because you have writings on the transparent envelope and then, you have your card. so it was quite messy. i'm sorry yaya, i'm the sort that i like to keep things simple and clean.

do keep in mind on the environment too! =)

mama saya simpan kad2 kahwin. reason 1, mungkin anak2 dia ramai yg tak kawin lagi. reason 2, to keep track all the addresses.

kad kawin harus cantik, tetapi berpatutan. dan tolong jgn bubuh gambar

    Yaya,

am one of your silent readers. hmm, quite agree with most of your friends' opinion. but i prefer something short, sweet and simple. like western card. if you see, western couple get their card as simplest as they can. and they jimat a lot.

if you ask me, i would prefer make the card myself. i mean, get someone to design it. no pantun, no du'a @ soorah (as you said you'll just put it between newspaper stacks). and you have to at least consider by putting all the holy words in. moreso, people only want to know who's the bride and groom, the venue @ address, the date and time etc. Just keep the basic things.

I know 8 months is not going to be long, but if you start working from now, I guess you'll get everything done in time. All the best!

oh ya btw am not saying Malay cards is tak ok, but I just think someone need to think out of box. anyway, just survey-survey dulu. who knows u'll find the one you like!
