I have always had trust issues.. even when I was a kid. Due to watching too many tv programmes, I developed this feelings that people who are not related to you will lie for their own benefits.
When I was 10, my best-friend said she spent 2 years in Zimbabwe and she got to be the coolest kid ever that time. I already knew where Zimbabwe is and it can't be true unless one of her parents is an ambassador or a N*tional G*ographic scientist or photographer and I definitely knew her parents, she's my bff. I said I don't believe her, therefore I was outcasted by the so called coolest gang.
In order to prove that she's lying, I went through Pa's Britannica's Encyclopaedia and many other books to find more on Zimbabwe. And yeah, I got to prove she's lying but the ending was kinda messy. But we are still friends now and she is in the same scheme as I am, only 2 years junior..hehe
Kids always lies or should I say they love to brag the untrue things.
However, when adult people lie to escape responsibilities, that is so freaking uncool and totally unacceptable. Lying seems like a sinless thing to do nowadays. People can easily tell lies naturally while giving us the straight face.
I believe in karma, what comes around, goes around.

Money and fame
Groupies
From 8 to 5,
Him,
Monologue
The big boss said in the meeting last Tuesday, enjoy what you have now for what you always wish for may not be as good as you think it will be and in life, you cant get everything, you get some, you lose some. Nobody's life is perfect... So true isn't it?
I'm a normal person and I sometimes do wish for luxury things I cant afford of. It's good to have lots of money but it's bad to compare your life materially with others richer than you. It makes you feel sangat2 tidak bersyukur with what you have. And you dont say this out loud to your husband, especially to a nice husband like mine. Deep down inside, he'll feel bad for not being able to give everything the wife desires.
Career-wise, I sometimes envy those who got the opportunity to travel overseas, equipped themselves with knowledgeable courses, get acquainted with great people, well known to their bosses, while I am stuck in this office, day in day out and what I did daily is only a teeny-weeny portion that goes out in the PTK exam. Pathetic..
Easier for others to say, "you have to work hard to excel OR to get yourself noticed". Seriously, working in the 2nd biggest Ministry in this country, wow, that's super duper extra hard-work unless you are pretty, a lil bit flirtatious or good at sweet talk, then the chances are slightly higher for people to remember you easily. I want to deny it, but this shit still happens SOMETIMES. (apart from those who excel solely because of their abilities).
My husband always tells me, fame and money aren't everything. When you get some, you will lose some. You have money but you don't have time; you have fame but you lose your private life; you get higher position in work, there comes the bigger responsibilities meaning lesser time with your loved ones.
I have this friend who works in one of the Arab's countries (with a very huge paycheck of course) but only goes back home a few months a year to meet her husband and her mother. I cant imagine what kind of life she has.
Well, she is not me and I am not her.
My family is my most top priority. I slept next to my husband every night, went back to KL every weekend to see my parents n my FIL, talked to my mother on the phone a few times weekly.
Money can't buy time.
Imam Al-Ghazali once said, The most unreachable thing in life is your past time.. Once it's gone, you can never get it back. So spend it wisely.
Whenever I'm having my downtime, feeling that my life is kinda, erm, pathetic compared to others, I will think of my loved ones and all the good things I'm blessed with. Indeed I'm not rich but I am not poor, always, always, remember my niat when I come to work every morning which is to help the country, then I won't feel bad at all...I love my life because it's great, alhamdulillah..

Movies and more movies

The big screen with people in it
Most of the movies I've been watching are the ones downloaded by Bro Pian which mostly Lala doesnt approve masuk panggung Malaysia. Must utilize the hdtv to the max selagi warranty masih ada. However the tv arent abled to read other than mp4 file. So, I connect the pc speaker+woofer to my laptop and the lappie to the tv and lights off. The result, macam tengok di panggung wayang tapi boleh baring2 and makanlah apa2 yang ada di dapur tu.
One cool movie. It's about Clyde Sheldon (Gerard Butler) whom witnessed his wife and daughter being raped and murdered. And after 10 years, Shledon decides to take justice into his own hands. I still pitied Sheldon even what he did in the movie.. A must watch movie.
A light comedy. It's about 2 high-school jocks Nick Brady and Shawn Colfax (Pelakon tak terkenal) whom managed to skip football camp in order to join a cheer camp to get the girls. Typical and so predictable but the jokes are funny and the movie is fast-moving. You can put aside your brain and mind while watching this.
A typical never-been-seen creature attacking a bunch of humans with lots of gory scenes. Yucks..

The big screen with people in it
One of the movies I watched. Korean, Kwon Sang-woo (wootwoot), Melodrama. The movie was a bit slow moving for the first one hour. For the sake of my favourite actor, I forced myself not too sleep..
It's about these 2 bestfriends, Kay (the guy) and Cream (the girl). Both doesnt have parents and have been living together since highschool. Kay owns a big house and invited Cream to live with him and they became best-friends eversince.
Sad for Korean movie means someone is dying and Kay is. He's in love with Cream and wants her to have a good life after he dies.. When we thought the movie is a typical, predictable sad love story, there came the twist that made me cried buckets until Joe had to hug me so that I'll stop sobbing. I've never cried that much. Not after watching Windstruck or have I gone mellowed because I even cried when I watched Homer Hickam won the National Science Fair in October Sky.
Hmm, bila agaknya cerita cinta Malaysia nak sampai ke tahap berkualiti macam ni..??

I know all their secrets
Ape2 pun, Selamat Hari Raya..
Hari Raya is not my favourite holiday kerana....
Parents tak balik KB, saya pun tak balik la. Malam Raya, sesi masak2 dengan Mama sampai jam 1 pagi. Sis Yanie masih di UK, Sis Yanti masih di Sydney. Sis Yana pulang ke KL. Tinggal 4 beradik sahaja.
Menu Raya: Nasi Dagang Mama yang sedap tiada tandingan, nasi impit dan kuah kacang.
Lepas solat Jumaat, ke PD. Hihihi. Ade ape di KL? Saudara mara semua kat KB. Malam tu malam karok. Suara paling sedap, mestilah suami saya.. uhuk, uhuk..
Ahad: Kami ke Batu Gajah, kampung Abg Joe. Tinggal sehingga hari Khamis dowh! Celcom Broadband tiada pencapaian, Isnin aktiviti ziarah2, 2 hari lagi terbaring tengok movie je. Pelik bila abg Joe tak kene gigit langsung. Mungkin kerana beliau tidak semanis saya.. ehehehe
Openhouse: Jangan tanye, saya tak mungkin buat selagi tak punya rumah sendiri. tapi kalau nak datang, silakan. Tiada halangan. Beberapa jemputan dah diterima, baru pergi 1. Masih kawal diri, takmakan banyak pun. Tak sabar nak timbang berat Rabu ni. Kalau naik berat jugak, tak tau ar nak cakap ape lagi.
Majlis kahwin: Tahniah Shuko sebab selamat sudah jadi suami orang. Majlis kat Rompin tu, kalau senang, mungkin kami pergi.
(Echeh, macam ramai je) Target Aras 4.. fuiyoh.. ehehehe (Amin)

Last week, then this week..

Hurdles
Last week, Pa's car broke-down. And just now, all of a sudden, Joe's car suddenly stopped in the middle of Jalan Istana at 11.30pm. I was scared like hell. Cars, lorries, buses sped like crazy at the 4-lane road. Trying to act cool while my hands were shaking holding the car steering while Joe pushed the car towards the emergency lane. A motorbike stopped, an Indian couple offered to help push the car. In the meantime, I was praying that other vehicles will notice our car and I wont be experiencing the same thing I had 3 years ago.
Tow-truck service under AmInsurance sucks! I repeat, tow-truck service under AmInsurance sucks! We called several times, and no one answered. Hell with the 24-hour service you proudly mentioned. In the end, we called tow-truck bebas. RM130 melayang. at 12am, he arrived.
During that 30mins, my mind was racing on so many things. I wasnt sure whether to sit in the car or waited outside with Joe. (tapi baru nak masuk kul 12, orang baru nak pergi mabuk kot?) Then I worried kalau tiba2 ada perompak on motorbike datang rompak kami. So, I even hid my valuables somewhere in the car. Polis peronda takde la pulak time tu.. Serius takut..

Joe jaga traffic supaya kenderaan elak lane terlibat.

Gambar blur sebab tangan terketar2.
I'm sure Joe was feeling the same way, but him being a guy, semua tu tak terpancar di mukanya.
Sebelum keluar memandu, pastikan:
1. Fon ada battery
3. Ade segitiga emergency tu
4. Torchlight
5. Memandu bukan sekadar memandu, wajib tahu nama jalan. Kalau tak, macam mane nak bagitau tow-truck.
6. Berpakaian molek. In case emergency macam ni, kalau bert-shirt+kain batik je, ha, naya..

Kereta selamat sampai di depan rumah mama.
So now I am, still freshly awake at 3am akibat saki baki terlebih rembesan adrenalin sebentar tadi.
Housemate kesayangan saya terus tidur balik2 tadi.. Hmmmmm..
