My hardworking clerk transfers to other department. Sad though. I like her and I learned a lot about letters, filing and stuff from her. And she's the one who has 6 kids, and still manages to save RM50 each for each child every month. Kagum teman.
Since raya is in less than 2months, we decided to buy her a complete set of raya outfit. Kain, tudung and brooch.
And I'm the unlucky one who were chosen to buy the gift. So off I went to Jalan TAR along with Joe on Saturday. Goodness, that place were packed with people or specifically, ladies..
I hate buying things like kain baju kurung for anyone. Everyone has different taste in patterns, colours, type of fabric etc. Well, finally, I bought something I thought she will like, a matching tudung and a Kenji brooch.
I like Kenji. Affordable and worth buying. Almost 10 years ago, I bought 2 Kenji brooches. That time, it was RM50 for 2. (Serious murah..) the brooch remains shiny and pretty as it is even though it has been almost 10 years. The patterns are not the typical flower pattern with lots of stones. The one I bought is the shape of twisted leave. Anyway, the good part is, Kenji has a lifetime warranty. If the brooch loses the stones or the pin worn out for what ever reason, you can send it to any Kenji outlet without having to bring anything to prove your purchase. Kenji owns their unique patterns..

We are fast shoppers, spent about 2 hours at Jalan TAR, Sogo and Semua House. I bought beads for my baju raya beading project which I have started last night. yay. Went to the house whole department at Sogo, eyeing and surveying plain Corelle dishware and Tefal (I'm crazy about plates and pots). Arrived at 10.45 and safely on the road heading back home at 12.50. Some women are fast shoppers.
Need to get out of there as fast as we can. I cant stand the crowds and the heat. I say it's crazy when the mothers can shop happily bringing their young infants in the prams.. Crazeeeee

memang sedih.. Yang tinggal, hmmmm, fikir 2-3 kali nak bagi kerje, sbb in the end, aku kene buat balik..

ReplyDeleteAnon: Jangankan tegur, dah buat one-to-one approach. tak jalan jugak. Kalau diri dia dah rasa ape yg die buat tu betul, kita cakap ape pun dia tetap dengan pendirian dia. Bayangkan dengan bos pun dia boleh tinggi suara, boleh sindir bos depan2, terus terang boleh cakap surat tu tak penting, bagi kerje sume kene buat balik sebab silap walaupun dah siap bagi instruction kat kertas, tiap waktu FB-ing, yang paling best, dia ni ade dip. tengah buat degree lagi tapi pe'el macam ni. ReplyDeleteNeway, Allah nak tunjukkan, harini orang itu ditangkap meniru tandatangan bos utk menyokong pinjaman bank.. Kalau lapor ke polis, memang kes jenayah, memang gelap masa depan dia dalam kerajaan n bank pun boleh report ke BNM untuk blacklist nama dia. Ni lah padahnya tak fikir jauh.. Nauzubillah...
