Merungut

Hiduplah saya tanpa merungut selama 4 hari.

Hehehe). Enjoy lah setiap saat bersama.

Saya bersyukur..

Happy 2nd Anniversary sayang...

I hope you like your gifts because I really love mine and the surprises you gave me :)

Mak saya selalu bilang, bila kita didatangani dugaan, itu tandanya Allah sayang kita kerana Dia mahu kita sentiasa ingat kepada Dia kerana kesenangan mudah membuat kita lupa dan lalai.

The new place #2

I survived the first 4 days, yay..

Couldn't help listening (or eavesdropping) to every little words spoken in the office. Hehehehehe..

Today, I've been given a task and a meeting to attend to. Sadly, there's no fail meja, can you believe that? Luckily Wan is doing the same job-scope and he brought back his fail meja for me to copy. Call me a weirdo, but I like to type when I'm stress. I plan to type them tonight, which is not a smart thing to do eh? xerox jer lah beb.

Had a chat with one staff of mine. Oh my, she's so efficient and I feel like asking "are you really an spm graduate??". I'm shock to see how these people work. So little staff but so many things to do. And they work like robots. or are they robots?

Since I ate so little and been walking so much (echeh) these few days, I'm feeling a bit tired today. I think in 3 months time, if I manage to keep up with this low carb diet, I can shed a few kg (errr gram).. hehehehehe..

My current happiness, seeing the husband's face when he came to pick me up from the central and we can't stop talking about our new work (even-though we have already talked about it on the phone) until we fell asleep with the light on.

Alhamdulillah, I'm blessed..

Satisfied

Ah, I like the smell of leather.

*giggle*
I was given an early birthday gift. I'm so fond of it, no, I love it so much. It's the one I've been looking for.

Last weekend, we went searching for the one that suits my taste, for 2 days. The first day, we walked from shop to shop for 3 hours non-stop. haha. Imagine the calories I burnt. It was a really good exercise. On the next day, the Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa day, I already knew where to looked at, so it took us less that 15 minutes to choose and pay. Finally, it's in my hand. Big thanks to this friend who told us where to find it. And not forget, to the one who paid for it. Muah, muah..

I went to watch HMM with Brother Wan and Husband Wan. (Hehe, that sounded so weird). Bro Wan on the right, Husband Wan on the left.

Overall, the movie is good. Thumbs up for KRU Pictures. However, I couldn't stop laughing when I heard the left person whispering Chubaka and the right saying Gandalf when R*him R*zali appeared. What's with the odd looking hair? On the other hand, after giving much thought, I think the mirror laser thing is ok. Hikayat means, it can have a little bit dongeng it in, right?

Happy viewing to those who have not :)

Tears

4.00 am

Don't take for granted because tomorrow may never comes.

This is about him..

I grew up watching my guy classmates skipped cleaning activity just because they are men. Whenever you did the duty rosters, men were given the easiest work like throwing the rubbish. If you put their names in the sweeping floor section, haram they will do it. Just look at their desks or how they arranged their books in their bags, you'll know what sort of person they are.

So, I have set my mind that men are lazy. Only one out of thousands of normal men may be rajin a bit. the chances of I'm meeting any of them are less than 0.0000002% because I don't have that many guy friends.

I have this girlfriend who refuses to get married because she thinks marriage means double house-works and double head-ache. Why burden herself on such things when life as single is less stressful. Partly, I don't agree with her. However, being what I used to be, I agreed that marriage means the wife has to do the extra work.

Well, that was before..

Then, I got married. Sab gave me this book, The Ideal Muslimah. Which was written in such a way that I wanted to be an ideal muslimah like right now.

I went for this ceramah and this ustaz told us that kerja2 rumah hanya jatuh hukum wajib bila suami suruh. Tapi membuat DENGAN IKHLAS tanpa disuruh akan mendapat pahala berlipat ganda. But how many of you actually did it without having your heart felt a little bit angry at your man whom happily stretching out his leg on the sofa watching tv while you are doing house works from dawn till dusk??

I know I can't..

I'm such a fragile human being. I have sensitive skin therefore I can't do too many washing, I'm allergic to dusk, I have troubled knee that prevented me from standing too long, and many moreeee...

But Allah is great and He does answer your prayer. Alhamdulillah, I have the best lifetime housemate. I can't stop thanking Him and feeling grateful for giving me such person and I pray hard that this will last forever.

I know that I have only been married for merely 2 years. Some say this is the honeymoon year and everything still looks so great. For us, the first 10 months was the toughest. We quarreled a lot like a lot. We thought courting for 2 1/2 years before we tied the knot is sufficient enough to actually know each other.
Well, we thought we have..

The truth is, the good and the ugly came later when we started living together, both the man and wife. Then the communicating, accepting and adapting process took place after the 10 months I told you about. And life started to feel beautiful again.

Anyway, he's the best housemate ever. (I think I've mentioned it twice :) I don't iron our clothes or do the bed (which is his part), I can dump the clean laundry on the floor or just leave the dirty dishes in the sink whenever I don't feel like doing it (note: Not all the time, sometimes) and Alhamdulillah, he'll do it without having me to leave a sticky note on the fridge.

I'm not the best cook, but every time I cook, he eats silently and words like "tak sedap", "masinnya", "pedasnya" never blurts out from his mouth. He always repeated "Mak cakap, bila orang masak, jangan cakap banyak. Makan je. Memasak tu penat." and everytime he said that, I wish I got the chance to know this wonderful woman who brought up such a great man.

For 19 consecutive months, I've been nothing but a spoilt wife.. Blame it on the guy in this picture.......... hehehehe

I planned to post this entry on his birthday. However, it slipped my mind..

It's 18th March, Happy 32.12th birthday abang.. hehe

Worth-it

Beautiful picture frame is to frame a nice picture like this

(or is it just me that thinks that it is a nice one? haha.. ok, you can ignore my words before the image)

I asked Wan to put that frame at his office, for "security" purposes. Hehe.

What is it about some men being scared or refused to put the picture of the wife or the kids at their workplace and later when the wife brought up the matter, they will come out with cheesy words like, "I already place your picture in my heart"...

Dugaan

(Oh, lebih kerap blog diupdate. Apa lagi, schedule entry la. Type banyak2, lepas tu schedulekan. hehehe)

In shaa Allah.

Lump-sum

I always have problem finding stuff to buy for Wan. He is a very simple man. He desires no new clothes, perfume, shoes, wallet, etc.. He only buys a new one until everything is totally worn up.

His passion is badminton. And things he always wanted is a Hon*a CR-V and there were a few times he mentioned a PS3. I can't afford the first one, and the latter, I wouldn't dare take the risk. Well, you know how man get addicted to games and "abandon" the wife, kids and housechores. hehe

However, this year I managed to strike one of his wish-list.

I hope he's happy with his new toy. A lump-sum present of this year's and last year's.

Not knowing that I'll get to know my soul mate in our batch forum. hee

Happy 4th Year in the Service PTD Batch 1/2007 and Happy Birthday Mala.

Now, let's pray that we'll receive *that letter* soon. *wink*

Cake...

Happy Birthday dear husband..

And he loves ice-cream the most, so I bought him the BR ice-cream cake.. Sedapnye..

Selasa malam Rabu adalah malam suami main badminton hingga jam 12. Sepeninggalan suami bermain badminton, saya pun bertungkus lumus kemas rumah, lap lantai then mandi, pakai wangi2 dan baring2 tengok Supernatural :D

Lama oh, tunggu kat tingkap. Dah nampak kereta, keluarkan kek, pasang lilin besar di hall, tutup lampu.

Dia bukak pintu je, Happy Birthday sayang!

Maka, makanlah kek ice-cream nyaman 2 potong sorang.. Sedapnye....

ICe-cream cake BR, janganlah naik harga, kami sangat sukakan kamu...

Hadiah? MUNGKIN, aku bilang mungkin ;)

Not for the poor

Kenapa bila sebut mee segera orang akan bersimpati? Ketika saya di Kolej Y UKM dulu, saya cukup pemalas nak turun cafe kecil (bukan kafe pun sebab makcik tu datang dan tapaukan makanan untuk pembeli je), kalau lambat turun, makanan habis, lepas tu kena pergi kat area She*ll tu beli makanan, maka mee segera, biskut dan nestu*m adalah makanan ruji saya, bila housemate cakap "makan mee segera je" dengan nada simpati, saya pulak rasa simpati dengan diri saya (sebab tu la masa uni paling kurus - fat cume 16%).

Mama cakap, masa dia pergi honeymoon kat Jepun tahun 70-an dulu, mee segera tu orang makan selamber kat kedai serbaneka. Ianya adalah makanan on-the-go.. Majoriti mereka makan mee segera. Cepat dan kenyang..

Prof saya dulu pun cakap okey je makan mee segera tapi kene minum air banyak sebab kandungan garam yang sangat tinggi.

Janganlah sampai tiap hari mee segera..

Tadi sambil2 masak lunch (bukan mee segera, dengar kat al-kuliyyah, 3 ciri wanita yang masuk syurga:
1. Jaga solat (masuk waktu terus solat);
2. Jaga puasa; dan
3. Jaga suami
Pastu adalah elaboration yang lain.

SA-TEK-JA-DER-BADI-HATI-TAULA-GAS-HEMAT-SABA-KAT-CIP <---aish, melekat dah formula Tonggak 12 ni :D

Cepatlah suami pulang solat Jumaat, dah lapar ni....

This is about him..

The husband and I will be seating our 1st PPK exam together next Monday. 1 hour ago, he said he can concentrate better in the room rather than with me at the living room. 1/2 an hour after that, he's concentrating alright, but not studying, sleeeeping..hehehe..

I am quite excited about this exam. Since both of us are in the same scheme, there's so much in common. After 3 years ++ in this relationship, we still sms'ing quite frequently each day, and if at work, we exchange ideas or seek advices or editing each other's letter.

My ustazah when I was in secondary once said, find a man whom you knew his background, his past which means, someone whom I knew since school years. Sebabnya, masa zaman bercinta, he will show his best behaviours and you are clueless of what he's like when he's at home unless you have known him for quite some time (people say bad habits are hard to break).

Husband is 5 years older than me. I don't think I have met him before and PT*D Unggul is where I noticed this guy who had handphone as his 11th finger. Seriously, everytime I saw him at the corridor, he's always on the phone. Dipendekkan cerita, we decided to start a serious relationship a few months after that.

Then, my ustazah's words striked me. So when DPA came, I took this opportunity to get to know him better through his friends, his room mates, his sidang mates, everyone and alhamdulillah, the feedbacks were all the good ones..

And luckily for me, when we went for penempatan daerah, I had Syariman, Ustaz Zabri, Chit and Zul Osman which all of them were his sidangmates as my kampung mates. Ape lagi, mase terluang 2 minggu digunakan untuk korek cerita pasal boyfriend.

They even made jokes about sidang luar yang buat Joe muka paling moyok ialah OBS sebab 2 minggu takdek handphone.. hehehe.. And when Chit came to meet my keluarga angkat di Kampung P*amah K*ulat, he saw my room was a bit untidy and he told me, "Wan malang dapat hang sebagai isteri sebab dia lah lelaki paling pembersih aku pernah jumpa". Instead of feeling irritated by Chit's words, hatiku gembira dengan statement tersebut..

And indeed, when we started our lives together 1 year + ago, I've never met lelaki (bukan gay atau lembut) yang sangat pembersih dan rajin. Alhamdulillah, sangat bersyukur dengan kurniaan ini. I was touched when we went back from our 1 week raya leave, the house was quite dusty so I started sneezing. Without having to tell him, "Abg sayang tolong sapu lantai and buang sawang boleh tak" sambil buat gaya manja2 gediqs, he did it on his own initiative.

Spending almost 5 days at his kampung with him and his father during raya, baru saya tau, mana nak tumpahnya kuah kalau tak ke nasi.. My FIL is very rajin. Lantai berdebu sikit dia sapu lantai, pinggan2 pun dia lap simpan dalam almari dll..

Alhamdulillah.. :D

Money and fame

The big boss said in the meeting last Tuesday, enjoy what you have now for what you always wish for may not be as good as you think it will be and in life, you cant get everything, you get some, you lose some. Nobody's life is perfect... So true isn't it?

I'm a normal person and I sometimes do wish for luxury things I cant afford of. It's good to have lots of money but it's bad to compare your life materially with others richer than you. It makes you feel sangat2 tidak bersyukur with what you have. And you dont say this out loud to your husband, especially to a nice husband like mine. Deep down inside, he'll feel bad for not being able to give everything the wife desires.

Career-wise, I sometimes envy those who got the opportunity to travel overseas, equipped themselves with knowledgeable courses, get acquainted with great people, well known to their bosses, while I am stuck in this office, day in day out and what I did daily is only a teeny-weeny portion that goes out in the PTK exam. Pathetic..

Easier for others to say, "you have to work hard to excel OR to get yourself noticed". Seriously, working in the 2nd biggest Ministry in this country, wow, that's super duper extra hard-work unless you are pretty, a lil bit flirtatious or good at sweet talk, then the chances are slightly higher for people to remember you easily. I want to deny it, but this shit still happens SOMETIMES. (apart from those who excel solely because of their abilities).

My husband always tells me, fame and money aren't everything. When you get some, you will lose some. You have money but you don't have time; you have fame but you lose your private life; you get higher position in work, there comes the bigger responsibilities meaning lesser time with your loved ones.

I have this friend who works in one of the Arab's countries (with a very huge paycheck of course) but only goes back home a few months a year to meet her husband and her mother. I cant imagine what kind of life she has.

Well, she is not me and I am not her.

My family is my most top priority. I slept next to my husband every night, went back to KL every weekend to see my parents n my FIL, talked to my mother on the phone a few times weekly.

Money can't buy time.

Imam Al-Ghazali once said, The most unreachable thing in life is your past time.. Once it's gone, you can never get it back. So spend it wisely.

Whenever I'm having my downtime, feeling that my life is kinda, erm, pathetic compared to others, I will think of my loved ones and all the good things I'm blessed with. Indeed I'm not rich but I am not poor, always, always, remember my niat when I come to work every morning which is to help the country, then I won't feel bad at all...I love my life because it's great, alhamdulillah..

Just the two of us..

We went to Cherating for a short weekend trip during our anniversary. We stayed at Impiana for 3D 2N. And this is kinda our review on the hotel..

Anyway, we had breakfast 1st in the morning n a piece of caramel cheesecake on the anniversary day itself. Presents? Rahsia :)

The journey started at 2.30pm. Kenapa lambat sangat?? Hantar kereta pergi service. Ingat boleh siap cepat, sampai kul9.30, kul 1 baru siap..

Had our lunch at Bentong's Petronas. There's a cafe there named D'Paya Serai. Cafe yang teramat mahal, standard KLIA. Gula2 kopiko, 20sen sebiji!! 2plates of rice (which is equivalent to 1 plate of rice for normal people), sayur kobis, 2 ketul ayam and 1 telur masin at the price of RM16. Mahal dan banyak lalat macam mane pun, manusia tetap ramai..

Arrived at 5.30. Was told that the hotel was fully booked already. Tiada pertukaran bilik boleh dibuat.

Blok panjang 3 tingkat overlooking the beach

The room was not bad except that:
1. we were mistakenly been given a room with 2 single beds instead. Single, single, not super single. Nasib both of us kurus :D
2. The room was at the top floor and there is no ceiling, terus2 nampak atap. Then there was this just a bulb dangling from the roof.
3. Since it's at the top floor, imagine the heat during the day and the air-cond was so damn slow n not cold at all.
4. Ants!!!!!!!! So many of them. We cant even leave anything sweet on the table or else, the ants will come swarming them in minutes. The only place that's safe to put food is at the TV rack.
5. The TV was small. Comel je.
6. Lizards, huge n fat like the one I saw during BTN at Ulu Sepri.
7. Lighting at night was bad..

Tu, TV comel.

View from our room.

Tempat santai di petang hari. best.

See, no ceiling.

As for the price, Deluxe Seaview (standard room) is RM300++ for normal rate and RM180++ for government rate during weekends. But hotels usually give the lousiest room for customers using Govt rate or with voucher/coupons. And this is not my first experiencing this.

Food :
2 day breakfast-On Sunday morning, there were so many people at the the Kedai Kopi and the hotel staff tak cukup tangan to fill in the foods in the tray. You may have to wait or ask the staff for it. Most of the foods were tawar. The nasi goreng serai, the sambal bawang etc. Or is it I am very pemasin? The food was just ordinary and the same menu the next morning.
Room service food sangat mahal. Cant remember the price but it's more expensive compare to other hotels.

Tempat breakfast.

The beach:
Biasa2 saje. Airnye kelabu, dont expect crystal clear water. On the day we arrived, memang ramai sangat orang walaupun panas terik. It was kinda windy and cloudy on Sunday evening, so mandi sakan. Plus, everyone checked-out that day and left us and some foreigners tourist. Tiada gambar pantai, Dah dua2nya mandi, sape nak tangkap gambar.

Tempat lepak di lobi hotel. Best dok sini. Berangin.

There are many other things at the hotel we didnt explore. But over all, the hotel needs to do a make-over.

Anyway, kami pergi tengok penyu.

Masuk sini free. Cuma salurkan sumbangan ikhlas.

Penyu kecik. Comel sangat.

Penyu besar

Tempat penetasan penyu. Kecewa tak dapat pegang penyu kecil.

Kalau nak tengok penyu di malam hari, ade sesi tertentu yang diorganize oleh pihak hotel dan lokasinya di Teluk Mak Nik also known as Monica Bay which is pantai belakang INTIM.

Will we be coming back to Impiana? Dont think so. Saya mahu pergi Redang sebelum ianya dijadikan lokasi percutian orang kaya :)

Suasana di LPT pada hari kerja.

2nd

This Ramadhan may be the 2nd year for us as husband and wife but the 1st year on our own. Last year was at my parents' house or FIL's. Woke up for sahur, SIL had her own way, so I just helped a little bit and when we were at my parents' house, I woke up as usual to help Ma cooked instead of doing the cooking myself. Ngee.. And as for iftar, since we were from Putrajaya driving all the way to KL, azan Maghrib was heard in the car most of the time. Upon arriving, everything was prepared.

This year is different. Have to wake up early to cook. Today is the eighth day. So far, I managed to cook simple sahur and iftar meal within an hour. Heh. Thanx to Wan who helped a lot rather than sleeping and left everything to the wife. And the best part is, the dirty dishes are his part.

Small-tummy-tank people like us tak berbaloi pergi bufet ramadhan. 2 days ago, I made inti karipap to eat with tortilla bread and melted cheese. I made 5 of it and I managed to eat 2, while Joe only eat 1!! He went for his usual badminton game from 10 to 12, came back home not feeling hungry and immediately went to sleep. So the rest of the bread were ate during sahur instead.

So for the 1st week, memang sangat jimat.. Tak pergi lagi mana-mana Pasar Ramadhan.

I'm excited to try many kinds off iftar meal. Hari ni mahu buat popiah (my style) with the remaining inti karipap.

Working in this department means tak perlu beli kurma.

Membeli makanan semasa lapar memang aktiviti menakutkan. Tengok sorang2 kat pasar Ramadhan tahun lepas order makanan pun menakutkan.

Selamat beribadat semua!

789

7890 is my car plate number. 7.8.9 was the date I'm officially a wife. No, my car came 1st, then the date. And we noticed the date and the plate a few days after the wedding, what a coincidence. So abg, kalau tak ingat tarikh anniversary kita tu, tak tau ar nak cakap ape kan.

Alhamdulillah, it's been a year already. And many more years to come inshaAllah..

Amik tu, baju merah menyala.
Saya half chinese :)

Dont worry, be happy..

Mission unaccomplished again this month. Hell yeah you know what I meant.

Will be celebrating our 1 year anniversary in a few weeks. Plans have been made and I was hoping we can celebrate it with a special "gift" for both of us. But none.. It will be just the two of us.

For the last few weeks, I've heard so much of "patient yaya, your time isnt here yet" and truly it doesnt help when it comes from people who got pregnant almost immediately after getting married and blessed with cute babies..

It triggers me whether I may have said something about not wanting babies but I couldnt recall any. However the rage I felt when we bickered can really screwed up my mind sometimes and I may have wished for something I dont mean.

Yesterday was emotional. The moment I knew the circle starts as usual, I burst into tears like the past 6 months. Raya is nearing, and it's making it worst. Wan have been nothing but supportive. Words wont help, I just need hugs and he knows it already.. We ordered a big combo meal of pizza delivery for dinner and watched Gossip Girls Season 3. Yeah, I find comfort by watching tv. It eases my mind away and floods it with Blair and the gang's problem.

At 12.30am, Wan needed to use the laptop to finish up his works (see, govt officer brings work home tooooo) and I just need to do something because I wast sleepy. So I washed clothes (manually, we dont have a washing machine. we usually brought our dirty laundry every weekend and added a few ringgit to Ma's water and electricity bill) in the middle of the night just to keep my mind busy. Slept at 2.30 and woke-up at 7 this morning. Bersiap seperti lipas kudung..hahahaha

Anyway, I may have taken this waaaaaaaaay too hard on myself. Alright, maybe I am.. I have been thinking about seeking advices (or maybe treatment, just hope not) at LPPKN. My sister used to work there and she said young couples went there as early as a year of baby-less, like us. There's no point of procrastinating and keep myself wondering, isnt it?

And I have to accept the fact that this is the best for both of us for the time being and Allah may have His plans on us. Or maybe, He knows I'm not ready to be a mother just yet..

The hardest part to accept is, it has been a year already and it's time to meet the doctor and knowing the truth.. That aint easy and not all can understand....

p/s: Tolong jangan komen, relax ar Yaya, baru setahuuuuunnnnnnnn... Hahahahaha, taknak dengar tu dah ok :p

Esters, Ketones, and different Sulphur compounds

A mix volatile compounds contribute to durian's aroma. Amazingly, spending 10 minutes in a car smelled of durian, washes away the GA Code I sprayed this morning and hey, I'm wearing durian perfume today.

Yesterday didnt start so well. I was feeling mushy for no reason. However it ended beautifully.

Joe had a meeting in Akademi J*PJ in Melaka yesterday. Guess what, the Academy has durian orchard. weee.. So Joe brought a full load of durian in his car boot. We took home 3 big ones and the remainings were left in his car for his staff.

(Imagine a car full of durian overnight)

When we got in the car this morning, wallaaaa, the smell is soooooooo strong.

Thank U sayang :D

MAC.. Revlon..SimplySiti

1 similarity = Make-up

A friend is kinda disturbed with her bf's statement saying she should wear more make-up.

I never thought about it until she brought it up.

Well, for her, the bf's statement indicates make-up can make her look pretty or another way of saying "You're not pretty, please put on some make-up".

So far, what Joe had mentioned to me is to wear less or nothing at all. Alhamdulillah :D

I just dont know how to response back to her.. ouch!
