Bacaan title hendakla dibaca dengan intonasi seperti "Tora datang lagi"..
Sejak saya mula kerja, (cheh, macam lar dah kerja berpuloh tahun), sehari sebelum Thaipusam, saya mesti amik cuti.
Abang Joe, kita mesti keluar pejabat sharp jam 5. Kita masuk Jalan Tun Razak, lepas tu masuk Semarak terus ke DUKE, then masuk Sri Gombak, tembus ke Wira Damai bla, bla bla...
At times like this, how I wish I have pintu suka hati..

Of wedding again
Went to Joe’s cousin’s wedding at Dewan Alwy, FRIM on Saturday. The wedding was beautiful. I think she engaged the famous Arma Wedding Couture to design the hall and her pelamin. The pelamin looked exactly like this one except that the flowers were white instead of pink.

Boy, I was surprised to see an ice sculpture outside the hall. Didnt take any pictures, forgot to bring the camera. Wasnt interested anyway, because the wedding was so beautiful, I cant help feeling envy the whole time I was there.
Then there was the ex-gf at the wedding. Mr. Joe’s ex-gf la, sape lagi. She’s pretty but I’m prettier. Heh. She’s plump size with long wavy hair. Joe said she used to be slimmer and wearing tudung when they were dating. While we were waiting outside to go back, she went outside too. Caught her eyeing my husband a few times. Back-off missy, he’s all mine now.
Anyway, back to the wedding, indeed it was a beautiful one but thousands of ringgit spent for a few hours event, I think it’s a waste unless your daddy is a wealthy man. But if you needed to borrow money here and there to pay your wedding planner, the priority isnt right.
Eventhough my wedding didnt come out the way I want it to be, I still love it, I love my family still (tak gaduh2) and I love my husband so much. It’s not worth quarelling or spending tooooo much money over a wedding reception that lasted only a few hours. Because the next day, the husband mula pening mana nak cari duit bayar hutang or terungkit masa gaduh2 tu about spending all his savings on the wedding.
I’m so glad we didnt have to borrow money from anyone or make personal loan for our wedding. And I still have my savings plus the duit hantaran. And I felt more special and appreciated when every cent my husband spent for the wedding came from his own savings, not a cent from his dad.
Bride-to-be out there, know your limit. Everyone dreams of having the beautiful things. If your parents or future parents-in-law is filthy rich and is paying for it, go ahead with your plans. But if you knew your future husband isnt that well off, have pity on him. Always remember, your husband’s debt is your debt too. His problem is contagious and you will get affected..

Slumberland..
There’s nothing more relaxing than spending the weekend watching movies at home cuddling Joe. I love staying home. When weekdays require to travel back and forth from KL tu Putrajaya, the least I want to do on weekend is to be inside the car again.
We havent moved the big things into the quarters yet. The fridge, tv, our clothes. Still searching for a good bed and settee for the living room. We have reached an agreement that Joe will decorate the living room while I will have all the say for our bedroom.
I love divan bed. Macam katil di hotel2. Something that look like this.
But the one with drawers is much more expensive. RM1K is the cheapest. Without the drawers, you can get at the price of RM700 without the mattress.
Another is antique kayu jati bed. It’s suitable for aunties, I know. But I want a good bed that’ll last for 20 to 30 years like the one ma bought when she got married. 35years and still remains strong. The cheapest bed frame is around RM1K.

Beautiful clothes n shoes do not excite me that much anymore. I'm crazy over electrical appliances n furnitures for my future home when we bought 1. And I want this standing steam iron.

No more ironing board, I can iron curtains and bedsheets without having to spread them all over the floor.. But the good quality one costs RM300++..
Things are so expensive nowadays..
Back to the movies, we watched 4 movies on Sunday.
1. Orphan
2. Vicky Christina Barcelona
3. Funny People
4. Ice Age 3
Except for Orphan, I dozed off in the middle of the 3 movies. Amazingly, I woke up just in time to watch the endings. Funny People is not funny at all. Countless F-word throught-out 2 ½ hours. Joe stayed awake because Adam Sandler is in it.
Woke-up early because I have to drive to work.. It’s Tuesday.. *yawn*

Not a cheery note..
I think I have had worked my as* off last year. Apart from my own kerja hakiki, I had to tanggung kerja for 6 months of 3 different officers. 2 out of that 6 months, I did it for free because that officer is from a different scheme. Then, I was the secretary for this particular meeting for 4 months, with 3 meetings each month. Too many meeting's minutes, I had to bring home to settle it. I have 47 hospitals under my wing to take care of. Then I'm in the KESKEB committee.
However, I was told today that my total LNPT marks does not reach 'certain level' eventhough my 1st evaluator gave me quite high marks. No, I dont mind been given that marks, but I was not sattisfied when my colleague of same unit whom has half the number of the hospitals than mine to take care of, had maternity leave for 2 months, went back home on time every day, was given higher marks.
I am indeed dissapointed..
The blame is not on that colleague of mine. She's nice, the closest friend I have here whom I always pour my heart into other than Lin. She's not the type that would say nice things to the boss in order to please her but I cant stop thinking what I did wrong to deserve such marks. What did I do less than my colleague?
I wish she had called each and everyone of us WHY she gave what she gave. At least I know why I deserved such marks..
No, I wasnt expecting an APC. I dont deserve an APC just yet. But I did work very hard last year. However it's sweet to hear my 1st evaluator said I deserve better marks, and if she knew this would happened, she would've given higher..
Thanx boss.. I'll work harder this year..
Joe's in Malacca. Argh, I have to iron my own clothes.. >_<

Risau ke?
Ade yang komplen pasangan tidak pandai bergaya, ade komplen, pasangan pakai jenama tak hangat seperti Raoul or Gucci., atau pakai kereta keluaran Malaysia yang bila capai 130km/j, kerete dah menggigil2.
Jangan risau..
3. Jimat! Bayangkan sekiranya pasangan anda suka sangat pakai pakaian berjenama. Singlet pun tak nak jenama Pagoda, mau yang berjenama Salvatore Ferragamo, stokin mahu jenama Renoma, jeans mesti jenama CK. Kalau mampu tak pe lar, jangan "Biar pape asal bergaye", memang pengsan lar.

Tak bergaya sangat pun takpe, tapi jangan la selekeh macam nak pergi buat kerja buruh binaan.. Yang penting, jangan busuk.. Yucks..
Who are u trying to kid?
Someone wanted to introduce me to this slimming product. It's some sort of what we call, food supplementary. When you drink it, it'll make you feel full and you dont feel like eating. But, but you are FORBIDDEN to eat Carbs.. It's similar to Atkins diet..
Layman explanation on Atkins Diet: you cut off your carbs, then the body will use the fat stored in your body, entering the Krebs Cycle to produce energy. When there's no more fat, the body will use your body protein, then you'll look like the late Karen Carpenter (a few months before her death).
I asked her, is it safe for a woman who wants to get pregnant? She confidently said it's safe and started to explain about it. She even told me, if one cheated, carbs will present in the urine.
Carbs is complexed sugar. Only tiny weeny size like glucose can entered the renal's glomerulus. And if more than 0.8mmol/L of glucose presented, it means Danger! Danger! Diabetes alert.. Go further check-up..
So I asked her, "Are you sure you can test carbs in the urine?" She ignored my question.
Is it safe to take this product if I want to get pregnant?
If the product uses the Atkins diet basis, then the body will use fat stored in your body. To get pregnant, we need hormone, hormone needs fat to be produced. Gymnast dont have proper menstrual cycle because they cant or eat very little carbs in their daily diet. Inbalance endochrine system, macam mane nak pregnant?? This is what she called safe??
At last, when she cant answer most of my inquiries, I decided to diet the old school way.. Exercise and eat healthily..

350 days to go
350 days to 2011..
Oh hi..
Happy New Year people!
I made no official resolution but I did think of achieving a few things this year such as:
+ have my own baby which I want to call him/her Kamil or Khairunnisa;
+ save more money to get myself to join a slimming centre
+ then, reduce 10kg to get back to my original weight
+ buy 2 houses, 1 is on my name and another is joined name
+ pass PTK 1
That's all I can think of right now..

Nasibla hanya selama 3 hari sahaja.
1. Nama
2. D.O.B
3. Alternate email address
4. Secret question and answer
5. City dan state
6. Zip or Postal Code
7. Negara

New Year, New House
Perihal rumah kuarters dah pun settle. (Baru settle??). Maafin, kami ni lembabs sikit.. hehehe.. InshaAllah, next week or lagi 1 weekend akan masuk rumah. Jumaat ni akan membuat pembersihan besar2an. Mop pun da beli sebagai persediaan masuk rumah. heh..
Memandangkan ni hanyalah rumah persinggahan, perabot yang akan dibeli hanyalah basic umpama duduk rumah sewa zaman universiti. Oklar, tak la sebasic itu. Berikut ialah checklist barang2 yang perlu dibeli:
1. LCD HDTV - benda wajib!
2. Katil tanpa almari sebab dah ada built-in cabinet (Best giler ;)
3. Stove dapur
4. Takde settee di depan tv sebab hanya nak letak kusyen2 besar 5-6 biji
5. Meja makan jepun yang comel
6. Rak nak letak TV
7. Langsir berwarna cream. Ni konfem upah jahit dengan mama ;)
Itu sahaja. Hehe..
Microwave, flusk, periuk nasi, pinggan mangkuk, iron, set sudu garfu dah ade, hadiah kahwin.
Lagipun, tunggu house-warming Quntum, sampai sekarang tak buat2 pun :p

Fight! Fight!
16 foods that fight fat
This is a bit long but worth reading for those who want to cut down those flabbies..
BREAKFAST
1. Cottage cheese
“I used to be addicted to toast with tonnes of butter and vegemite. But ever since I started using cottage cheese on my toast instead of butter, I find I no longer crave sugary foods mid-morning.” Alina, 23
Why it works: Cottage cheese contains whey protein, which releases hormones that tell your brain when you’ve had enough to eat. Look for low-fat versions which have 80 calories and 1 gram of fat per ½ cup.
2. Rolled oats
According to obesity expert Dr Robert Lustig, from the University of California, low glycemic cereals such as rolled oats produce less insulin, which blocks vital hormones that tell your brain when to stop eating.
Why we love them: Oats are high in soluble fibre, which plays a large part in slowing the digestive process and helps stabilise blood sugar levels. Starting the day with a bowl of porridge is almost guaranteed to stave off those mid-morning vending machine raids.
3. Eggs
“I used to skip breakfast totally, or just have white toast. Now I’ve added poached eggs and swapped to soy and linseed bread it gets me through a busy morning without hunger pangs." Catherine, 24
Why it works: Eggs contain quality protein which has the ability to keep you full for longer. It also balances out carbohydrates by preventing insulin spikes that cause energy loss and sugar cravings. Go for poached eggs or an omelet with spinach, tomato and mushrooms rather than the fried variety.
LUNCH
4. Avocado
“I was on a strict low-fat diet for six weeks and wondered why I wasn’t losing any weight, despite being hungry all the time. What I didn’t realise was that all those supposedly low fat foods were really high in sugar.” Kristy, 27
Why we love them: Although avocado is 83% fat, it’s the healthy mono-unsaturated kind, an essential fatty acid that enables the body to metabolise other fats. Research shows that eating “good” fats causes less weight gain by triggering fat burning rather than fat storage.
5. Turkey
“I wanted to tone up and lose body fat, so I now do a 30-minute brisk walk every day, weight training three times a week and my diet includes plenty of lean protein like turkey in every meal. Although the scales haven’t changed, I have lost 3% body fat and dropped a dress size.” Carlie, 28
Why it works: Turkey is high in leucine, an amino acid which helps maintain muscle mass. Maintaining muscle during weight loss is essential because it boosts metabolism and helps the body burn more calories even when you’re not working out.
6. Legumes
Dr Susanna Holt, a nutritionist at the University of Sydney, recently developed a system for measuring how long different foods made you feel full, called the Satiety Index. One of the foods that rated highest on her scale? Legumes such as lentils and chickpeas.
Why we love them: Legumes are low in fat, high in fibre and contain anti-nutrients which delay their absorption, making you feel like you’ve eaten a filling meal. Throw chickpeas into a salad of roast pumpkin, fetta, rocket and pine nuts and dress with a little olive oil and lemon.
SNACKS
7. Yoghurt
Yoghurt contains good bacteria essential for the health of the digestive system. It’s also packed with calcium, a must-have for all women to protect bone density. Aim to eat at least three serves of calcium a day, like 1 tub of yoghurt, 1 glass of milk and a slice of cheese.
Why it works: A recent university study found that eating three serves of low-fat dairy a day may accelerate weight loss. Results showed those who consumed more calcium lost a greater percentage of body fat than their calcium-deficient counterparts. Opt for low-fat options to reduce calorie content.
8. Apples
“When I lost 10 kilos last year one of the hardest things to change was my sweet tooth. I’m a sucker for cakes, biscuits and donuts. It took ages to adjust but now I snack on fruit like apples and dried apricots instead. Sure it’s not chocolate, which I still have as a treat, but it’s the next best thing.”
Why it works: The skin of apples contains a particular type of soluble fibre called pectin that slows digestion, making you feel satisfied for longer.
9. Raw nuts
Always avoided nuts because you think they’re packed with fat? According to Dr Miller, author of Eat, Drink and Be Healthy, a small, regular intake of certain kinds of nuts can actually help you stay slim.
Why we love them: Raw nuts such as almonds, walnuts and brazil nuts contain a combination of protein, fibre and healthy fats which keep blood sugar levels stable, keeping us from getting hungry too soon after eating. Snack on 10 almonds a day or add walnuts to a chicken salad. But while raw nuts are great, avoid nuts that have been roasted or salted.
DINNER
10. Salmon
When Dr Nicolas Perricone released his New York Times best seller The Perricone Weight-Loss Diet it caused a wave of hysteria among image-obsessed celebrities. His theory? That fatty acids, particularly from salmon, can keep you looking younger for longer by fighting the signs of ageing.
Why it works: Oily fish contains essential fatty acids which help your body burn fat more efficiently and protect against disease. Dr Perricone recommends at least three portions of oily fish a week. Throw fish on the BBQ and serve with salad or steamed veges for a five-minute dinner.
11. Broccoli
Broccoli is not only high in calcium, it's also loaded with vitamin C which boosts calcium absorption. At 20 calories per cup, this super food contains powerful phytochemicals that boost the body’s immunity and protect against cancer.
Instant flavour boosters: Try cooked broccoli with lemon juice, slivered almonds, sesame seeds or a few shavings of parmesan cheese.
12. Lemon
“I used to drench food in creamy dressing and was obsessed with caesar salad thinking that, because it contained lettuce, it must be healthy. Then someone told me the average caesar salad can have as much fat as lasagna. I now use a squeeze of lemon juice instead of oily dressings.” Berny, 19
Why it works: Aside from supplying substantial amounts of vitamin C, the main benefits of lemons relate to their seasoning potential. Adding fresh lemon juice to recipes can reduce the amount of salt needed to enhance the flavours, while adding no fat and negligible calories.
DESSERT
13. Berries
Raspberries, blueberries and strawberries not only taste amazing, they’re packed with cancer fighting carotenoids and high in pectin, which makes you feel full. Combine with yoghurt for a totally guilt-free dessert.
Not into fruit? Throw a few raspberries over low fat yogurt and untoasted muesli in the morning, or add blueberries to a smoothie. You won’t even realise you’re eating them.
14. Low-fat rice pudding
“I've finally found a dessert which also tastes great. Heinz low-fat rice pudding isn't too expensive and doesn’t pile on the kilos. It’s incredible sprinkled with a little honey or maple syrup.” Bianca, 26
Why it works: A delicious and nutritious dessert, rice pudding is low in fat and full of flavour. Serve hot or cold with fresh fruit such as strawberries, bananas or kiwi fruit and you'll soon see your sugar cravings leveling off.
DRINKS
15. Green tea
“I have a stressful job and could easily down three coffees a day without noticing. Now I’ve switched to drinking green tea throughout the day, instead of milky lattes. It’s cleansing, healthy and calms me down.” Belinda, 29
Why it works: A study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition shows that green tea polyphenols can speed up the body’s metabolic rate by stimulating thermogenesis (fat burning). It’s also packed with anti-oxidants to makes skin look healthier, fight disease and free-radical damage.
16. Water
“I’ve lost 22kgs over the past two years and one of the major changes I made was swapping soft drink for water. I now drink at least two litres of water a day, have lots more energy and feel more positive in general.” Gillian, 29
Why it works: Water not only keeps the body and skin hydrated, it’s essential to maintain a healthy elimination system, which rids the body of waste. Often, when you think you’re hungry, you’re actually just thirsty – so try drinking a glass of water before raiding the fridge.

DINNER

Mentos
I offered my colleague Mentos mint this morning while we were all in the meeting. She's an Indian and she said she's on vegie today and Mentos has gelatine inside. Remember this entry?
When she commented Mentos mint has bovine, I started to have doubts about this product. As far as I know, it's halal. So I look through the internet and I found this:
I'm a bit relieved with this discovery. More on this, you can check this website.

An affair to remember?
The internet connection at the office is strictly limited to certain websites. More websites are blocked everyday. Whenever I wanted to log in to blogger, this thing appeared instead.

The connection at home isnt any good anyway. I use router for wifi connection. And these few days, the wifi kept on disconnected every 5 minutes. Maybe the wifi router is broken or the connection is damn lousy.
Watched Jennifer’s Body last night. Joe fall asleep half way. I guess, Megan Fox isnt foxy enough in that movie.
***************************************************************
Scandal..
This was the topic discussed at Hot.FM AM crew this morning.
There was this caller, a woman who blatantly confessed that she has an affair with another man and of course, she’s married. The sad thing is, she didnt seem to show any remorse as if she was glad she’s into this affair thing. The affair still goes on, the husband already knew, and now it’s up to her to decide who to choose.
What is really happening to marriage institution right now?

I just knew about this today..
Workout secrets your personal trainer won’t tell you
Running burns some serious fat
Running is a weight-bearing activity that uses a lot of energy, so your body will try to make it easier on you by shedding kilos. If you’re worried about injuries, get a good pair of shoes, try to run on a soft surface, and build up intensity over time.
Sit-ups won’t shrink your belly
You can’t spot-reduce areas, like your tummy, hips, thighs and butt, with certain exercises. To get them down to size, you need to burn off the fat covering them – flabby bits can be eliminated by raising your heart rate with aerobic exercise (running, cycling, etc.).
Interval training sheds the kilos
Alternating between going hard for 10 seconds and easing up for 10 seconds will help you lose more fat than continuous exercise. This can be applied to any sport, such as running, swimming, rowing or cycling. Make the intervals longer as you gain more strength.
The average girl can’t bulk up from doing weights
The vast majority of women do not have the genetic potential to grow big muscles. Body builders look the way they do because they put in enormous hours at the gym, eat very strategically, and get other assistance (not all of it legal).
Pilates and yoga are poor choices if you want to lose fat
It’s important to remember that you lose fat by expending energy (and lots of it). Think aerobic exercise, like running, cycling and swimming – all of which will trim you down. Then there’s weight training, which produces muscle-building hormones – great for tone. Unlike these types of exercise, Pilates and yoga will not affect the levels of fat in your body, though they’re excellent for core strength and flexibility.
Detox diets are a waste of time and money
Any eating plan you can’t maintain for life is no good – you’ll just put the weight back on when you stop dieting (every woman should know this by now!). If you really want to “detox”, as in eliminate toxins from your body, then quit smoking, ease up on the booze, eat well-balanced food, and exercise regularly. These are things that you can do your whole life.
Weights are brilliant ... if you’ve cut back your food intake
Restricting food makes you lose muscle and bone as well as fat. But, by combining smaller meals with at least two resistance workouts per week, you’ll stay toned
and avoid muscle wasting.
Tips by Dr Rob Newton, professor of exercise and sports science at Edith Cowan University in Western Australia.

Dont judge a book by its cover
Entah tak tahu kenapa pilih title di atas.
Time rajin tu, banyak je entry eh..
Lepas diberi MC selama 5 minggu, buat MRI sampai kena cabut permanent retainer, tapi tak pergi jumpe orthopedic sebab appoinment jatuh pada hari pergi daftar DPA. Then tak pergi buat follow-up sebab Doc Yana cakap result MRI tu takde menunjukkan ape2 yang kritikal. Memang betullah kot cakap Sis Yana saya sebab masa DPA, lutut ni langsung tak bagi masalah. Memang sehat walafiat masa DPA. Jadi sebab tu tak pergi buat follow-up kat hospital.
Semalam, sakit teramat, letakler icepack selama 1/2jam sampai lutut terasa numb. Then Joe balut bandage baru rasa lega dan boleh tidur. Tak larat nak makan painkiller lagi sebab sekarang ni kerap sangat makan paracetamol bila migraine. Joe had been nothing but very2 helpful.

However, cuci toilet masih kerja rutin saya.
Memasak...
Saya tak makan ikan sungai, saya belajar makan pucuk betik, pucuk paku n pucuk ubi masa masuk Uni sebab masa tu susah nak cari sawi dan carrot). Saya tak makan organ dalaman, limpa, perut, hati, lidah etc, etc.
Sebab kalau papa komplen, kena pergi makan kat luar tapi papa takleh makan kat luar, perut die extra sensitip. Nak tak nak, kena makan jugak chef mama masak. (papa bawak lunch-box ke tempat kerja sehingga dia pencen, kiut kan?)
Kadang2 saya jadi buntu nak masak ape.
Hari tu, saya cuba masak pucuk ubi masak lemak. Dah sudah masak, taste die pelik. Tak macam kat kedai. Daun pun extra liat nak gigit. Rupe2nye pucuk ubi yang saya beli tu dah tua. dah bukan pucuk lagi. Adoi, baru lar teman tahu. Padanla kuah die pun pahit2, extra klorofil dalam daun.
Menu favourite suami adalah jering masak sambal. Entah bile teman nak belajar masak menu ni dengan kakak ipar. Kalau masak pun, suami makan sorang.
Tapi takla terlalu berbeza sangat. Walaupun orang puteh cakap opposites attract, saya rase opposites tu tak boleh la terlalu extreme. Sorang kutu rayau, sorang suka dok rumah membaca Newsweek, tak ke haru rumah tangga?
Apa2 pun, dua2 kena belajar adapt. Dua2 yer, if sorang je tolak ansur, tak aci lar kan?

Life's like this..
The boss EL'ed today. Yey. But the the bad part when your immediate boss isnt around is, your super boss might call you directly if she wants anything..
I had a hectic and tired weekend (again).. Deeply sorry Ina for unabled to come to your house yesterday. Joe had a badminton match on Saturday. We arrived home at 4. Clothes not washed, grocery shopping not done, house needs to be cleaned and all were done on Sunday. By 4 o'clock, the feet were just to sore to make any movement. And my left knee is killing me due to my vulgar aerobic session I had over the weekend..
We dropped by at Sogo before we drove back home after the badminton match. Oh my, I totally forgot how crazee Malaysian people can be during Sogo sale. (The last time I went to Sogo was during my 2nd year degree which was 5 years ago
Joe wanted to find a set of -t-shirt for his team member, for another badminton match this coming weekend. It's abnormal if I say I was not at all tempted by the pretty clothes, bags and shoes on sale that day. But people were swarming everywhere, every corner, every half a meter. We spent less than half an hour there and headed back home.
Women with prams, many with huge plastic bags on both hands, still managed to check on other items. Crazy I say. I pitied the kids, the babies in the prams, the husbands and the elderly whom they brought along. Some even fell asleep on the bench while waiting.. Kesian.. Lagi kesian if poket pun kering lepas tu.. huhu
Joe dear,
I'll live the kids to you when I need to fulfill my shopping needs eh.. heee

Careerwife vs housewife
Warning: Entry memuji husband :)
Which one is worse?
Career wife: a woman who goes to work during the day and housewifing (word created by yaya) at night or;
Housewife: a woman who stays at home all day doing house chores?
Ma used to tell me, "do not quit your job". Joe wants me to keep my job too. Once we have kid (or many kids), it may be a different story but we'll think about it when the time comes.
It has been 3 weeks since Ma and Pa went for their Haji. I missed them terribly. And ever since that, I've been the Madame at Ma's house. Joe has been nothing but a very sweet husband. He helped me so very much. And being a career wife is not that tiring if the husband helps around doing house chores.
2 weeks ago, he cleaned the wet kitchen. Yesterday, he cleaned the area where we hang our clothes to dry. We sent a car full of plastic and papers for recycle sampai kereta Joe bau busuk. Next week, cleaning up the porch. Every weekend, he will rake the dry leaves and sweep the porch without me telling him to do so.
At home, we have our very own trash system. Anything biodegradable, we put in a small pail and bury it. We separate can, glass, plastic, paper and batteries. Joe will bury the biodegradable trash everyday.
He irons his own clothes (sometimes he does mine). He makes our bed every morning when I'm in the kitchen preparing our breakfast. He washes his own plates, helps me fold the clothes. He knows how I hate cleaning the fish, he will do it for me.
He's not a good cook but he's great at cleaning and organizing things. He does better than I am and I dont have to worry that I have to redo it when I asked him to do anything.
He massaged my feet when I said I'm tired, took really good care of me when I'm ill and hugged me tightly to sleep at night.
I'm so grateful that his obsession is only on Badminton and a little bit on cars (just a teeny weeny). Therefore, because he's such a charming husband, I give him time on his own to spend playing badminton a few times a week as rewards for him being such a great husband. I never thought this type of men really exists because I always have in mind that men is a lazy bunch and once they get married, they dump everything on the wife.
Some give remarks that this only happens in the early stage of marriage. The man will change bit by bit. Therefore I pray a lot that whatever he's good now, he'll remain the same for the rest of his life and at the same time, I'll be a good wife to him.
Dear husband, I love you so much!
Which one is worse?
Career wife: a woman who goes to work during the day and housewifing (word created by yaya) at night or;
Housewife: a woman who stays at home all day doing house chores?

Yaya and her neverending weight issue
I weighed myself last night after a few months of uncontrolled happy eating. And oh my, I've gained 20 lbs since the day I dragged my bag to INTAN for DPA. And at that very moment, which is at 9.00 pm, I vacuumed and mopped the whole house downstairs sweating like a mad dog since I cant do aerobic because I just ate dinner an hour ago. Later after that, I weighed myself again as if sweating a bit managed to drop a few pounds. I really cant believe how I've ballooned myself.
This should be the weight during the 3rd trimester when I get pregnant. And no, I'm not pregnant yet. Ah, susah hati. No wonder my clothes are all ketat. (Pura2 baru tahu).
Last Sunday (Nov 22nd), I hosted a small gathering, inviting friends during secondary school. Aqish, the bff is going to Maldives and so I thought we should gather before she departs since many of us havent met for several years. And some eversinced SPM. Aqish prepared the main dish, I just prepared the plates and glasses. The husband made fruitpunch which the guests ended up taking only the fruits.. We had a very great time reminiscing and laughing at the good all days.
I invited 14, 2 didnt manage to come because of work (On a Sunday) and 1 have personal problems. Remember when I told you that we formed a group of 10? 5 of us got married this year and 4 of them are pregnant. They will have their babies next year, inshaAllah. How time flies but none have changed; Tini still laugh so loud, Ainu is still the sweet girl next door (and remains slim eventhough she's 6 months pregnant).
Ainu brought along her DSLR and I took the advantage to learn to use it. Wow, best giler! (jakunis) I remember using Pa's SLR camera mase kecik dulu, mase tu dah rase best dah. Ni lagi best. Abang, I want a DSLR for my birthday next April tau! ;)
At the end of the day my feet were too sore from standing too much and thanks to beloved husband who kindly massaged my feet ;)
My immediate boss meletup for 2 hours (standing for 2 hours like schoolkids being scolded by a discipline teacher) last Thursday. The whole unit were scolded because of a very small issue made by this PSU and her clerk. Seorang buat ta*k, semua bau busuk. I know I didnt do any wrongdoing so I just relaxed keeping a straight face figuring a menu I'm cooking for Raya. hee. My bad ;)
I'm supposed to attend a 2-day course at Institut Pengurusan Kesihatan this week. But I think I'll pass. The immediate boss wont let me go at this very time of the year. Then there's this team-building thing at Pangkor for 3 days 2 nights. I think I'll pass too eventhough I can bring the husband along for free. Imagining myself in the ferry to Pangkor dengan laut bergelora. No thank you. Better spend my weekend accompanying the husband watching Animal Planet at home.
Last Saturday, Bro Wan, the husband and I went for a movie marathon. Takdelar marathon sangat tapi ok lar, 2 movies in 1 day. We watched Ninja Assasin and New Moon. I'm not that good atwritting writing a movie review. But for action pack, I favour Ninja Assasin rather than New Moon. Unless you're a Robert Pattinson fan, then tengokla New Moon and drool over Jacob's hot bod. Ninja Assasin pun boleh drool over Rain's hot bod.
FYI, we managed to get a quarters at spooky Presint 17. Tempat tu siang pun spooky, ni kan bila malam. We will move in there (after Ma and Pa are back from Haji) while we look for our very own house. Ah, a house of our own..
Signing off.. Nak buat duty roster for the husband and wife ;)
