27

At 27 today, I'm so grateful with what I have right now; a great husband, supporting family, wonderful friends, a steady job = an almost perfect life. I'm content. I believe that we can't have everything we desire because having everything does not guarantee us that we'll be happier, right?

I have been receiving a bouquet of flowers for the past 3 years and the 4th year is lilies.. My favourite flower arrived at my office. It's beautiful. I wish it stays fresh forever.

And the words on the card.. awwwwwww....

Clumsy

Stupidity is when you accidentally spilled your 5th dose of Gonal-f worth RM100.

And it's hard to let it go because I can't tolerate clumsiness. I kept on thinking, if I were more careful, it wouldn't have happened.

So I burst into tears and hugged the husband. There goes the 18mm ovum

After a while, I decided to forget about it and enjoyed a big plate of my mum's nasi minyak..

Must be super extra careful next time. (Oh I hope there's no next time though)

Should I or should I not confess to the doctor? hihihihi

All these while, I blog silently, some involved things that happened in the workplace. So, in a way, I'm glad that I'm moving out. Then I can blog about my new workplace pulak.. hehehehe

And hey, I'll be the 1st PSU to leave this department since 2007. I'm touched to know that there'll be a farewell party for me. I hate saying goodbye... :(

Bangun pagi tadi, masih rasa macam tak percaya.. Oh no, lagi 2 minggu, kena bangun uber early. No more gen2 biru ke tempat kerja, hai ERL dan LRT 1 jam++ perjalanan.

Menjejak kaki di bangunan E7 pagi ni, tiba2 rasa sayu.. Oh my, I'm sure gonna miss the hassle in Kompleks E.. And my cute, comfy lil workplace.. *sobs* Belum tukar lagi, dah ada orang chop my working crib.. Ada demand sebab ada tingkap dan boleh menonton kekanak bermain riang.. hehehehe

Surat sekeping dengan rantaian perkataan merubah rutin seharian saya dengan mendadak.

Eager like a beaver, saya telah menghubungi pegawai yang akan saya gantikan tempatnya. Terkejut pulak dia bila dengar saya akan ambil tempat dia, terus dia nak hubungi HR Kementerian sebab dia belum dapat sebarang surat.

Sambil2 tu, tanya serba sedikit tentang skop tugas dia, saya akan buat HR, perjawatan. Merasa la buat sesuatu yang berbeza dalam perjalanan career saya ni. Kepada mereka yang cakap nanti muka saya keluar kat Bersamamu sebab bekerja di situ, anda salah ok :P

Dalam 4 tahun, saya pernah buat sedikit2 pasal perunding, aset dan juga penswastaan, Lepas ni, tambah lagi 1 skop, perjawatan. Alhamdulillah, ada penambahan bidang dan pengetahuan baru.

Selidik lagi:
Sebab dia minta tukar: Dah beli rumah di Nilai. Perjalanan pergi balik kerja yang sangat tidak economical.

Jangkaan pejabat sekarang untuk berpindah ke Putrajaya: Awal atau pertengahan tahun depan..

Apa2 pun, semoga segala2nya dipermudahkan. Amin...

Boleh mula buat budget baru dengan pertambahan kos pengangkutan sebanyak RM14 sehari.. whoa...

Surprise

Received the letter, together with a new posting today. Partly I'm excited, new environment, new place. The bad side of it, it's in KL. I was told that the Ministry will move to Putrajaya later end of this year or next year.

The husband got posted to a new workplace too, but it's still in Putrajaya. So, for the time being, no more lunch date with dear husband and the train will be my transport to work.

In 2 weeks time, I need to finish up my pending works as much as I can. It's kinda sad though.

Oh well, it's time for my career to move on.. Hello new Ministry, goodbye beloved Kompleks E..

No more assistant secretary, I am now a senior assistant director.. (ikut suka wujud post sendiri :)

The first step #3

Meeting the doctor for the first time is kinda relieved.. A really big relieved to know that both of us are healthy and normal. Alhamdulillah.. (Oh yes, I received the I-told-you-so look from the husband as usual ;)

Since I have a big meeting to organise in April that might clashed with the IUI procedure, we decided to proceed with the medication first; the clomid and gonal-f..

Everyday, around 11am, the kids are allowed to play. I can hear them shouting and screaming happily. I can sit by the window and watch the cute little people play until they are once again in the nursery.

Oh, it's April again. I'll be twenty seven in less than 2 weeks but I've already bought myself a gift yesterday which cost me no-more-favourite-domino's pizza for a year and received the early birthday gift from him too..

However, I'm so in need of a new pair because the one I have now which was bought in 2002 dah koyak. (Itu pun brand cap ayam je. Oh my, I never had a Levi's in my whole life)

Blessed

Woke up at 5.30 feeling all cheery for no reason. Oh wait, did I receive good news yesterday? hihihi

Ditched my plan to do some light exercise but stuck in front of the lappie instead.

An hour later, woke him up and suddenly felt like eating homemade pasta. He did the bed like always and I returned to the kitchen.

In less than 30 minutes later,

Spicy fried rotini pasta with chicken, fresh tomato and capsicum in my cute orange tupperware and a glimpse of him on my table.

I definitely can join Kan Cheong Kitchen. hehe..

We can't get everything we want but our lives have been so far, the greatest.. Alhamdulillah..

Itadakimasu and let's work hard like the Japanese.

News

1st: Good news.

No, I'm not pregnant.. (yet)..

It's not exactly on the 4th year, but we received the news 4 years, 2 months and 1 week later.. Alhamdulillah..

We will gather once again next Monday to received, errrr, ehem.. and I can't wait to re-plan my budget. hihi

Oh my, what should I wear that'll make me look slimmer.. hehehe.. And owh the zits, I hope the skin will behave nicely next week.. I definitely want to look nice because we'll be taking lots of pictures like we always do when we reunite.

2nd: the not so good news, 'it' came today. So, the next appointment is schedule tomorrow afternoon at 2. We'll be meeting the doc for the first time. Mixed feelings since this morning...... And silly me, I left my appointment card at mom's house. Aduh. No choice but to rush back home 1st before heading back to LPPKN.. Why la, I'm getting forgetful these days?

Anyway, if anyone saw a couple, one wearing purple batik and the other in blue batik near Jalan Raja Laut, we are not mengulat-ing tau..

That's Adam. Kak Lin's son. An adorable kid. He likes Wan so much during our 2N2D stay at Kak Lin's house in Kuching. Stick to Wan like glue and he even slept on cuddling Wan in the car on our way to the airport. It's such a wonderful view watching Wan with kid(s).

Last Thursday was spent productively..

Morning, hit the road at 7am from mom's house in Selayang and arrived at LPPKN 1 1/2 hour later. Massive traffic jam, bumper to bumper all the way. Aduhai Jalan Kuching..
Procedure to take blood sample, 5 mins..
Parking ticket: RM2.50

Had breakfast at Bangunan Mara at 9am and noticed that there are still soooooooooooo many of them wearing baju batik having the time of their lives sipping teh tarik.. Woi, korang ni tak malu ke ape???!!!

Went to Abah's house to take Wan's home theater and replaced with another model: It took us 2 1/2 hours.. But yay, home theater. Every night will be a movie night, no?

Hit the road again at 12.15 to Shah Alam to collect our kad nikah.. Arrived a few mins to 1. Since the office is closed for lunch break, we decided to have our lunch at SACC Mall. It's like a dead mall. Sangat sikit manusia.

We had our lunch at Palma Cafe Malaysian Bistro next to Big Apple. The meals are quite expensive and our table smelt like cockroach. Wan had nasi kerabu and mine was nasi goreng palma.

My Nasi Goreng at RM9.90 was not up to my expectation. (Sorry no picture) It has 1 sunny side up egg, small-hard-to-bite fried chicken wing together with the pale taste fried rice.

We saw something funny on the menu too.


Ice tea is RM3 and Teh Ais is RM3.50. I just have to ask the waiter the difference between those two and he explained that Ice Tea is actually Teh 'O' Ais.. Ooooooooooo
No 6% Govt Tax but it has 10% Service Charge

On the way back to the car, saw Did*e Alias. This time, she has white colour fringe. Weird..

The parking rate is, RM1.50 for the first hour and RM1 for the subsequent hours.

Collect our nikah kad at JAIS.. Yay, no more folded nikah cert in my wallet. And they returned the pictures that we gave when submitting the form. Jimat gambar


And hey lady at the counter, can you at least smile back. I did nothing wrong to deserve such treatment.


Later, we rushed back to EPF Bangi to settle up the, ehem.. The procedure took us less than 10 minutes. weeee... We didn't know that the cap jari thing has to be done in front of the EPF staff. You know how struggle I tried to get a perfect thumb print on the paper using blck stamp pad???!! hahahaha..


Finally, arrived home exhausted at quarter to 5pm.. Still managed to cook a simple dinner and watched The Longest Yard. The sub-woofer, marvelous! (Oh where's my Winter Sonata VCD :)


Anyway, how many times do we actually take leave and just stay at home doing nothing? Because most of my annual leave were spent settling things that can't be done during the weekends.. *yawn*

Oh May, please come faster :)

21st day

Another appointment tomorrow. I'm taking a day leave again. Need to settle a few things which includes collecting our kad nikah at Shah Alam.. Hehehe, tak senonoh. Married for 20 months tapi baru nak pergi ambil kad yang baru dibuat bulan Februari lepas.

So sorry dear colleagues, I'm using up my 40day leave to the max this year. hehe..

I've been very2 sensitive for the past weeks since the check-up. Especially when the husband's result turned out normal and I couldn't help thinking whether if it's me..

I felt so imperfect in every way.

Last week, husband said a simple sentence, "a beautiful lady came to my office", and I was sulking all the way back home from pasar malam.

And many more incidents which I refused to recall because I was such a cry baby.

Poor guy..

What have I become?

Maggie Delivery At Your Doorstep..

I'm a lazy bum. With the weather now (which is scorching hot all the time plus I'm the type that sweats a lot), I rather stay indoor and try to settle everything by clicking away..

The bills, credit card, fund transfer, prepaid reload for mom, shopping, etc, all are done online.

So I was browsing for websites that provide chocolate delivery services. (Not the handmade one, I don't like compound chocolate and theirs are not cheap either). I don't need the fancy wrapper with ribbons, I just want the stuff to be delivered by somebody else and I don't care if it's delivered in pasar malam plastic bags.

Therefore, I googled for words such as chocolate/cookies-delivery-Malaysia, and I found this.. Walla, I can choose the type of chocolate that I want and it's considered cheap (compares to other delivery websites) because I don't have to pay for the fancy cards, wrappers, box, mini teddy bear and other irrelevant accessories.

The help service is very efficient too. Emailed them about my problem regarding their website and they call back within 2 hours. Friendly pulak tu.. I've heard of doorstep.com.my a few times in the radio but I couldn't recall the exact url but now it sticks permanently in my head. Yay..

p/s: Did you know that Famous Amos charges RM35 for delivery to Putrajaya?? Gile mahal. Barang yang order lagi murah dari kos penghantaran. Terus cancel..

If you're leaving an organisation as a boss, you can do either one of these:

1. Since you are leaving and maybe won't be seeing the staff anymore in your entire life, you can let bygones be bygones. Give your words of wisdom to your going-to-be-your-ex-subordinates before you leave. Forgive and forget because life is just too short to be vengeful.

OR

2. You can call for a meeting and condemn everyone. Spill every little unsatisfying feeling you felt for the past years towards everyone and leave without bidding goodbye on the last day.
