I have bought Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 via online at their website. Not 1 but 3 licenses. I have not done any market survey on how much it costs out there (but 3 is much cheaper than buying just 1 when buying online). Anyhow, anyone who's interested to purchase, there are still 2 left. PM me at surayasukeri(at)gmail.com.

I want my pc back

From 8 to 5
ok, a quick update..
Went to Temerloh for a short inspection at Hospital Temerloh 2 days ago. Disappointing result..
My bought-in-2007 CPU was infected with million gazillions virus, that it has to be taken to the "hospital" for 2 days. So yesterday and today, I'm using this EO's pc, which is tersangat lambat. Bile kite tengah ngelat kejap bukak blog ke, tetibe bos datang, memang akan kantoi sebab memang tak sempat nak minimize. Nak minimize pun amik mase almost 30 seconds.
For the past few months, many CPUs crashed because of virus. Therefore the IT dept couldn't provide me with any temporary CPU. They said we installed games and downloaded many things inside the PC which is the reason why it crasehd. Funny isn't it. Because I argued back, our PCs are set in such a way that we are unable to install anything without the Admin's password. And I backfired saying the antivirus isn't working or inefficient, maybe because it's a cheap one. Scan 2 times a week but still, so many pc crashed because of the same reason.
Feels like replacing the effing-Secure antivirus with Kaspersky..

Diet - Day 4
Groupies
Cut those calories
Yesterday was the fourth day. No carbs and daily jog at the park. On the 3rd day, I nearly fainted after 1 round. Terus kena marah dengan Wan, "Lenkali makan lebih sikit sebab tak makan karbohidrat"
Baiklah! :)
So far, I'm doing great.
Today, the office organized a small event bace yasin dan tahlil. Wow, sooooooo many food. I quickly ran away from all those yummilicious food after the event but couldn't resist not having a bite of karipap and cucur badak. Now, saya menyesal. Therefore, just soup for lunch ok Yaya.
Can't wait to weigh myself next Wednesday :)

Monologue
My colleague's husband passed away on the 11th morning; the day I went for PTK. The colleague came back to work on the 18th.
Her work-station is exactly in front of my room. So, many came to her place asking about how it happened etc and she, willingly or not kept on telling and repeating the same ol' story. Which for me, it may be agonizing for her to repeat them again and again about how her husband passed away. Have you not learned the word sensitivity, people? And if it were to happened to you, would you want to keep on telling people how your husband died merely a week after he is gone? Sedih tak hilang lagi kan..
Ma once told me, it is makruh to say takziah to the waris si mati after 3 days and here's what I found after doing all the research in the net and in the book:
Al-Fatihah..

Ma once told me, it is makruh to say takziah to the waris si mati after 3 days and here's what I found after doing all the research in the net and in the book:
Menurut para ulama, sunat mengucapkan takziah itu dalam lingkungan tiga hari, sebab menurut kebiasaannya kesusahan itu tidak lebih dari tiga hari. Maka makruh hukumnya jika ucapan takziah itu dilakukan lebih daripada tiga hari, kerana ditakuti selepas tiga hari itu akan memperbaharui kesedihan seseorang itu. Dalam hal ini Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam menjadikan puncak daripada kesusahan selama tiga hari, sebagaimana sabda Baginda:Action speaks louder than words which I think presenting yourself in front of her holding her hand or giving a hug may indirectly express "I'm sorry for your loss" or "I'll be here when you need me"; without having to say a word, don't you think?
Maksudnya: “Bagi wanita yang beriman kepada Allah dan hari akhirat tidak diharuskan berkabung atas si mati lebih daripada tiga hari, kecuali atas suaminya iaitu selama empat bulan sepuluh hari”.
(Hadis riwayat Al-Bukhari)

Did they know things that we don't?

Observed and analysed
First, I saw this IT officer in my dept (a 48) during a meeting used a 33sekupang phone and I asked Lin, is that his phone or is it just temporary. And Lin replied, yes, that's his phone. Seriously??!! 33 sekupang with yellow screen ok.. My first phone year 2002.
Then, I always kacau IT people about my PC since I can't download anything without the Admin's password. So they came by a few times to install the necessary things I asked them. Again, all of them are using old fashion N*kia cellphone. Rubber keypad, yellow screen and no camera ect, etc.
A few days back, Wan told me the same things about his IT people use older version cellphone. So here I am wondering, what did they learn that common people are not aware of?
I am still not in need of a smartphone, BB or iP. My work does not require them. I online using my heavy, humongous, screen blinking lappy and I am satisfy enough with my current phone or any phone that has 3G and a 2nd camera for me to have videocalls with Wan.
But I can't help grinning when one told me she must have one of these expensive phones for her to check the FB like every hour....
As long as you're happy dear :D
Went to watch The Other Guys last night and seludup makanan masuk wayang because the show started at 7.45. The movie is extremely funny and my muscle face was having spasm due to laughing so much. Highly recommended.

What makes you sad even more; the fact that you're not pregnant yet or someone thought you're pregnant (because you looked kinda, errr fat)??
*cry*
People are so insensitive nowadays aren't they?
*cry again*
*then laugh*
I may not have any say on the first because it's the God's thing, I can pray and hope for the best but the latter, the power is in my hand to change it, if I'm willingly want to and determine enough to do it.
So, it started last Sunday. Went jogging in the morning. Yesterday, I cut all my carbs intake, take my supplementary diet drink 4 times daily which I dread drinking it (not tasty at all) and decide to jog every evening after work at Putra Perdana.
It was a success yesterday and hopefully for the next 4 weeks.
All the best Yaya! p(^_^)q

The big screen with people in it
Warning: Spoilers
Finally, we watched Paranormal Activity yesterday afternoon. Wouldn't dare to watch it at night. Hadi said the movie is kinda scary.
It is quite slow moving at the beginning, I slept during the 1st 30minutes. Wan's the one kept waking me up when the ghost scenes appeared. So, I went to wash my face and sit-up straight.
The last 40minutes is where you can see more ghost's activities. The door shut by itself, then 'it' walked on the sprinkled talcum powder on the floor, Katie went out and sit on the swing and not remembering anything about it and the most horrifying is when Katie was dragged from her bed.
Ours is the alternate ending; which after Katie killed Micah downstairs, she went back into the room, holding a bloodied knife and her shirt was soaked with blood. She just sit by the bed rocking herself back and forth for almost 2 days. When her sister stopped by, she saw Micah's body and call the police. When the police went upstairs, Katie was herself again wanted to find Micah but with the knife in her hand, the police thought she's harmful so she was shot. It ended there.
From what we read from wiki, the budget for that movie is only USD15K and guess how much the gross revenue is........ USD193mil man!!
Crazy isn't it? I guess, people are tired of watching gruesome horror movies with gory scenes. Paranormal Activity doesn't even need costume for the ghost, just some camera trick that's all and bam USD193mil.
The 2nd movie we watched was Chloe. Cerita jiwa kacau.
Tengah2 menonton, ada pulak sorang mamat ni tepon tanya tempat makan best mane kat Bangi untuk dibawa awek berdating :p The funny thing was, he called me but I passed the phone to Wan dan boleh pulak mamat tu tanya, "siapa ni?" when Wan answered.
And the 3rd was My Blueberry Nights. The movie was kinda draggy. Awaked for 20mins then both of us fell asleep through out the movie but I woke up just in time for the ending. Jude Law's character is sweet. And I craved for blueberry pie after watching it.
Wan's going for his weekly badminton session tonight from 10 to 12 and the scenes in Paranormal Activity kept on playing in my head.. Help!!

Saya sentiasa ada masalah disiplin. Disiplin dari segi pengurusan masa disebabkan penyakit suka tangguh sejak azali lagi.
Tangguh belajar, tangguh lipat baju, tangguh lap lantai, tangguh kemas katil etc, etc.
Kahwin pula dengan seorang lelaki yang cukup pantang kalau saya suke tangguh2 contohnya bila amik bekas air sejuk, tak letak balik dalam peti ais atau tangguh basuh pinggan. Suami yang bebel, comel tak? Tak comel, sebab kena tegur.. huh
Pastu kene tegur dengan penuh kasih sayang, kalau nak kurus, kene la rajin buat exercise. Ni tiap kali tengok pempuan kurus, asyik kate nak kurus tapi tak buat ape2. Baik, baik.
Semalam, Ahad yang produktif.
Pagi2 seawal 6.30 sudah ke Putra Perdana, jogging. Pelik, sebab 6.30 di Taman Layang-layang Kepong dah ramai manusia, ni kat Putra Perdana jam 7 lebih baru ramai orang. Maka 7.15 dah habis jogging 2 round.
Lepas tu cari Taman Saujana Hijau, tak jumpe, pusing2 lepas tu jumpe Presint 9 (sila gelakkan kami) terus pergi makan nasi lemak kat depan Klinik Kesihatan tu (abis terbentuk kembali kalori yang terbuang masa jogging tadi). Nasi lemak kosong yang pedas-sangat-manis-pulak-tu-dan-sambal-takde-bilis pun harga RM2.50. Tobat taknak beli dah, tapi tak tau kenapa ramai orang beli kat tempat tu.
Balik rumah, menonton 2 movie, Paranormal Activity dan Blueberry Nights.
Lepas maghrib, had our dinner outside dan membeli barang dapur..
PTK dimansuhkan, terus rasa malas nak siapkan kertas kerja.. Haaa, tangguh lagi lar tu...

Renovation
Groupies
Mengomel je kerjanya
So Pa decided to renovate his master bedroom; he wants to have a wall or something in the middle and make 2 rooms from that master bedroom. He's going to move to the guest room downstairs. So now, this house is going to have 8 rooms. No master bedroom anymore and it seems that my room is the biggest of all.
8 rooms?? Bro Pian has his own room, I still occupy my old room because I go back home every weekend, Bro Wan only comes back home on weekend too but not every weekend pun, Sis Yanie will be moving to KK, Sis Yana works in Kelantan, Sis Yanti will also be working in Kelantan when she finishes her Phd, therefore I don't think we need so many rooms..
Well, renovation has started. I hate renovation. Especially the sloppy contractors. You know the type that never covers your tiled floor or the furnitures properly, leaves dirty walls when they finished (no initiative to even paint it just because it's not in the scope of work.) and smoke in your house whereas they know there are kids inside the house..
So usually, Ma is the kepohci when renovation work is on going. She will told them to be careful with the tiles, inspect their work like every 1 hour and when those workers borrowed our tools, she'll make sure they'll return it back when the job is finished. It helps a lot to be a kepohci. Again, especially the sloppy contractor. You'll only know they are sloppy workers once the work started. Then, it's just too late to back off or change the contractor.
Same thing happened to the renovation at my work place. The doors are all senget, you can see it when you close the door, the gap between the door and the door frame isn't even from the top to bottom, they didn't measure the hinges or covered the carpet with anything when they painted the door so when some of the paint spilled, it dirtied the carpet.
When the workers were doing my room at the office, I couldn't help being a kepohci. I asked them to clean the paint that spilled on the carpet in my room and on the wall, I said to be careful when removing the furniture because they were extremely very malas, they didn't lift up the the furnitures, they just pushed it and causing the kaki meja or the almari baju yang pendek tu jadi senget. Their works are not neat at all, sebab tu la murah agaknya and I can still see them at my office building. Some other department must've engaged them too. Too bad for us, good business for them.
And when renovation is on going, you have to be careful with your valuable stuff. They move freely in your house, so we have to hide the valuables or locked all the rooms that are not affected.
And when at home, you have to cover yourself. No more seluar pendek around the house.
Ma is in Sydney, so the kepohci isn't here :D I went to have a peek to see how they work just now and 1 word, sloppy..
I can't stand the drilling and the knocking.. I'm going back home to Putrajaya in the afternoon.. I cannot be the kepohci because I am not the boss in this house. Kat ofis boleh la :D hehehe

P and Q
Groupies
Observed and analysed
When I was little, I read this short story in one of the Enid Blyton's about this girl who always forgot to say Please and Thank you. So, her mother told her, everytime she forgot to say Please, she will pin a small piece of cloth with a big letter P on her frock and same as for Thank you, with a big letter Q.After a few days, her frock is full of Ps and Qs and she started to cry because she was ashamed. Her mother then said, each time when she remembers to say the word Please and Thank you, she will take off that piece of cloth from her frock one by one. And of course, in the end, it is a lesson learned for that girl and she never forgets to say those 2 magical words.
I say they are 2 magical words. Whenever you ask someone for help, it is more polite to say please or tolong. Then, when the work is finished, saying thank you won't hurt, isn't it?
Well, just now I went through the forum for my ministry's community. There is this topic call "suara hati" and a few subtopics related to that issue. The sad thing is, many complained that the officers are very rude and saying tolong or terima kasih seems like the hardest words to say.
I wonder, how humongous is their ego when they can't even utter those words to their subordinates.
Last Hari Raya, I can't remember any of the kids saying thank you when receiving raya angpau and the parents couldn't be bothered to ask them to say it.
Now, I have my 2 anak buah at home. And whenever they ask something like, "Che Yaya nak air masak" I will rephrase their sentences, "Che' Yaya, TOLONG ambilkan air masak". And if they don't repeat the sentence, no air masak for you kiddo. Garang tak? :D

Yey, the exam is over..
Yesterday was the presentation..
I was presenting with 8 other presenters; 3 from J*PA and 1 each from M*OF, J*PJ, K*DN, K*LN and M*OA.. I was the 2nd last presenter and the time keeper for the 1st 4 presenters. None were from D*PA 1/2008. 1 is a senior batch, the rest are junior batch and I am the youngest of all :D
There were 2 lady panels.
How did mine go?
The panels only commented on the slides like the rest of us, (they should be more interesting) and only 1 question came from them: "What are the challenges I experienced in order to complete my task as 41 at my place". Oh, there was another comment, they said I talked too fast like bullet train. haha. I guess, it's in my blood, didn't you notice how fast the Chinese people talk? :)
But they did ask more question on the presenter before (from J*PA) and after me (from M*OA). So, how should I conclude? Whether the panels like or dislike my presentation or maybe my work are just too technical, they didn't have a clue what to ask.
Oh overall, the panels commented (on all presenters) for our future TKs (SKT presentation is until TK6, did you know that?):
1. on the slides. It should be more interesting, with colours, arrows not the usual standard table form. P*TD should be more creative in presentation to impress the panels;
2. Too wordy and the words are too small. Power point won't be called power point if the words are not in point form;
3. Eye-contact, mostly had their eyes on the screen or on the panels but not with the audience;
4. More SKTs doesn't mean that it shows that you are doing so much works therefore you should be given more marks. Just present the most important things and elaborate more on that to the panels to show that you're competent doing it. (Some presented until 12 SKT. I presented only 4 SKT and the panels said 3 are enough..);
5. Explain and don't read from the slide. You will lose your eye-contact and it shows that you're not ready;
6. Don't mix the language, (Malaysian can't live without the word "so" nowadays isn't it?);
7. Time, mostly presented less than 8minutes when we were actually been given 10 minutes;
8. Practice. Practice with your friends, colleagues before the presentation. (I practiced with Wan and we couldn't help laughing at each other during the 1st few times); and
9. When you're presenting your work, show the enthusiasm that you like doing what you're doing now and the job are very interesting to do (even when you actually hate what you're doing and they are the most boring thing on earth).
Unlucky for those from J*PA, they received the most questions, just because the panels are from the same department.
Now we're free again, watched 2 movies (at home) yesterday immediately after the presentation and ordered delivery pizza. Ah, heaven :)

6. Don't mix the language, (Malaysian can't live without the word "so" nowadays isn't it?);
7. Time, mostly presented less than 8minutes when we were actually been given 10 minutes;

Looking for Restoran Ayam Penyet
Groupies
Hungry tummy
Due to functional paper frustration, we decided to have our lunch at a so-called nice and sedap place. Noni said she recently ate nice ayam penyet at Bangi, but she couldnt locate where it is. No, not the one tepi jalan tu. Saw the green painted Ice-Room Restaurant, so we went there to give it a try. People said it's good. And Jalan-jalan Cari Makan has been there too.
Wan ordered,

It's not mee kari biasa tu. The noodle was cooked with sweet soy sauce, then they put chicken curry on the top of the sweet noodle. The menu doesnt state Chicken Curry Mee-DRY. Not nice.
I ordered,

Not spicy at all. It tasted sweet.
Noni ordered,

It's not even real wonton. They put shrimp wrapped in wonton skin. Noni said not nice.
The noodles, all three are dried instant noodle. Ala, mee instant kering kosong tu cap C*intan, V*it etc.
And we ordered Bluebery ice-cream, RM7.90. No picture. Tak sempat, dah habis because ice-cream came first and we were 2 hungry people. Noni not included. She doesnt eat sweet food. No wonder sangat2 kurus. The ice-cream was not creamy and fluffy tapi makan banyak pun tak rasa muak sangat. Aiskrim dia boleh tahan lar.. The texture is quite similar to the one yang pakcik jual aiskrim kon (boleh juga dengan roti) atas motor luar sekolah. Dulu harganya 20sen.
The restaurant got lalat and filled with durian odour.
The ordering system is quite different. They put the menu list with pencil on the table along with the menu book, place the order by writing the quantity in the box next to the menu we want and give it to the waiter.
Will I be coming to this place again? Maybe, but just for the ice-cream.

Kenapa bila sebut mee segera orang akan bersimpati? Ketika saya di Kolej Y UKM dulu, saya cukup pemalas nak turun cafe kecil (bukan kafe pun sebab makcik tu datang dan tapaukan makanan untuk pembeli je), kalau lambat turun, makanan habis, lepas tu kena pergi kat area She*ll tu beli makanan, maka mee segera, biskut dan nestu*m adalah makanan ruji saya, bila housemate cakap "makan mee segera je" dengan nada simpati, saya pulak rasa simpati dengan diri saya (sebab tu la masa uni paling kurus - fat cume 16%).
Mama cakap, masa dia pergi honeymoon kat Jepun tahun 70-an dulu, mee segera tu orang makan selamber kat kedai serbaneka. Ianya adalah makanan on-the-go.. Majoriti mereka makan mee segera. Cepat dan kenyang..
Prof saya dulu pun cakap okey je makan mee segera tapi kene minum air banyak sebab kandungan garam yang sangat tinggi.
Janganlah sampai tiap hari mee segera..
Tadi sambil2 masak lunch (bukan mee segera, dengar kat al-kuliyyah, 3 ciri wanita yang masuk syurga:
1. Jaga solat (masuk waktu terus solat);
2. Jaga puasa; dan
3. Jaga suami
Pastu adalah elaboration yang lain.
SA-TEK-JA-DER-BADI-HATI-TAULA-GAS-HEMAT-SABA-KAT-CIP <---aish, melekat dah formula Tonggak 12 ni :D
Cepatlah suami pulang solat Jumaat, dah lapar ni....

3 days ago, I was waiting for Nonie to come to my building, which is just the opposite of hers. It was raining, agak lebat juga waktu itu.
While waiting outside, I saw this Mercedes dropped a passenger at the main entrance. Then the passenger spoke to the guard something like "We have an appointment with the top people in this building", maybe that was his words because the guard pushed the cone to make way for the car to park there. Ok fine..
Anyway, that idiot parked his car exactly underneath the shielded pedestrian pathway. Here's the picture.
This superdumb is the most inconsiderate person on earth. Those who had to cross over habis kena hujan because of your expensive car yang nak shelter from the rain. Ruangan tu bukan tempat parking berbumbung lar.
Lepas ni, kalau ada orang buat begini, I'll knock at his window and will ask him to move his car a bit to the front or back.

Wan's 1 1/2 month old black shoe was stolen last night.. Marah tau. It took me almost 1 hour to help him decide which one worth buying and I have to go through that process all over again??!! hehehe, kidding :D
Along with that new shoe that were left outside were my court shoe and Wan's brown shoe, both are Clar*ks' but the thieves took the new one because the other 2 looked buruk sikit.
Since Wan only have a pair of black shoe and the exam+presentation is next week, we had no choice but to buy a new one unless Wan wants to wear his shining mess-kit shoe :D
Ni kene check kedai bundle berdekatan.. Entah2 ada kan??
Pengajaran: Walaupun kasut tu tak berjenama tapi baru, jangan letak di luar..

The husband and I will be seating our 1st PPK exam together next Monday. 1 hour ago, he said he can concentrate better in the room rather than with me at the living room. 1/2 an hour after that, he's concentrating alright, but not studying, sleeeeping..hehehe..
I am quite excited about this exam. Since both of us are in the same scheme, there's so much in common. After 3 years ++ in this relationship, we still sms'ing quite frequently each day, and if at work, we exchange ideas or seek advices or editing each other's letter.
My ustazah when I was in secondary once said, find a man whom you knew his background, his past which means, someone whom I knew since school years. Sebabnya, masa zaman bercinta, he will show his best behaviours and you are clueless of what he's like when he's at home unless you have known him for quite some time (people say bad habits are hard to break).
Husband is 5 years older than me. I don't think I have met him before and PT*D Unggul is where I noticed this guy who had handphone as his 11th finger. Seriously, everytime I saw him at the corridor, he's always on the phone. Dipendekkan cerita, we decided to start a serious relationship a few months after that.
Then, my ustazah's words striked me. So when DPA came, I took this opportunity to get to know him better through his friends, his room mates, his sidang mates, everyone and alhamdulillah, the feedbacks were all the good ones..
And luckily for me, when we went for penempatan daerah, I had Syariman, Ustaz Zabri, Chit and Zul Osman which all of them were his sidangmates as my kampung mates. Ape lagi, mase terluang 2 minggu digunakan untuk korek cerita pasal boyfriend.
They even made jokes about sidang luar yang buat Joe muka paling moyok ialah OBS sebab 2 minggu takdek handphone.. hehehe.. And when Chit came to meet my keluarga angkat di Kampung P*amah K*ulat, he saw my room was a bit untidy and he told me, "Wan malang dapat hang sebagai isteri sebab dia lah lelaki paling pembersih aku pernah jumpa". Instead of feeling irritated by Chit's words, hatiku gembira dengan statement tersebut..
And indeed, when we started our lives together 1 year + ago, I've never met lelaki (bukan gay atau lembut) yang sangat pembersih dan rajin. Alhamdulillah, sangat bersyukur dengan kurniaan ini. I was touched when we went back from our 1 week raya leave, the house was quite dusty so I started sneezing. Without having to tell him, "Abg sayang tolong sapu lantai and buang sawang boleh tak" sambil buat gaya manja2 gediqs, he did it on his own initiative.
Spending almost 5 days at his kampung with him and his father during raya, baru saya tau, mana nak tumpahnya kuah kalau tak ke nasi.. My FIL is very rajin. Lantai berdebu sikit dia sapu lantai, pinggan2 pun dia lap simpan dalam almari dll..
Alhamdulillah.. Terima kasih Allah, terima kasih abah dan arwah mak yang mendidik lelaki ini dengan baik sekali. Sudah tiba masanya mengejut si dia yang sedang nyenyak tidur tu.. :D

Lies..

Monologue
I have always had trust issues.. even when I was a kid. Due to watching too many tv programmes, I developed this feelings that people who are not related to you will lie for their own benefits.
When I was 10, my best-friend said she spent 2 years in Zimbabwe and she got to be the coolest kid ever that time. I already knew where Zimbabwe is and it can't be true unless one of her parents is an ambassador or a N*tional G*ographic scientist or photographer and I definitely knew her parents, she's my bff. I said I don't believe her, therefore I was outcasted by the so called coolest gang.
In order to prove that she's lying, I went through Pa's Britannica's Encyclopaedia and many other books to find more on Zimbabwe. And yeah, I got to prove she's lying but the ending was kinda messy. But we are still friends now and she is in the same scheme as I am, only 2 years junior..hehe
Kids always lies or should I say they love to brag the untrue things.
However, when adult people lie to escape responsibilities, that is so freaking uncool and totally unacceptable. Lying seems like a sinless thing to do nowadays. People can easily tell lies naturally while giving us the straight face.
I believe in karma, what comes around, goes around.

The big boss said in the meeting last Tuesday, enjoy what you have now for what you always wish for may not be as good as you think it will be and in life, you cant get everything, you get some, you lose some. Nobody's life is perfect... So true isn't it?
I'm a normal person and I sometimes do wish for luxury things I cant afford of. It's good to have lots of money but it's bad to compare your life materially with others richer than you. It makes you feel sangat2 tidak bersyukur with what you have. And you dont say this out loud to your husband, especially to a nice husband like mine. Deep down inside, he'll feel bad for not being able to give everything the wife desires.
Career-wise, I sometimes envy those who got the opportunity to travel overseas, equipped themselves with knowledgeable courses, get acquainted with great people, well known to their bosses, while I am stuck in this office, day in day out and what I did daily is only a teeny-weeny portion that goes out in the PTK exam. Pathetic..
Easier for others to say, "you have to work hard to excel OR to get yourself noticed". Seriously, working in the 2nd biggest Ministry in this country, wow, that's super duper extra hard-work unless you are pretty, a lil bit flirtatious or good at sweet talk, then the chances are slightly higher for people to remember you easily. I want to deny it, but this shit still happens SOMETIMES. (apart from those who excel solely because of their abilities).
My husband always tells me, fame and money aren't everything. When you get some, you will lose some. You have money but you don't have time; you have fame but you lose your private life; you get higher position in work, there comes the bigger responsibilities meaning lesser time with your loved ones.
I have this friend who works in one of the Arab's countries (with a very huge paycheck of course) but only goes back home a few months a year to meet her husband and her mother. I cant imagine what kind of life she has.
Well, she is not me and I am not her.
My family is my most top priority. I slept next to my husband every night, went back to KL every weekend to see my parents n my FIL, talked to my mother on the phone a few times weekly.
Money can't buy time.
Imam Al-Ghazali once said, The most unreachable thing in life is your past time.. Once it's gone, you can never get it back. So spend it wisely.
Whenever I'm having my downtime, feeling that my life is kinda, erm, pathetic compared to others, I will think of my loved ones and all the good things I'm blessed with. Indeed I'm not rich but I am not poor, always, always, remember my niat when I come to work every morning which is to help the country, then I won't feel bad at all...I love my life because it's great, alhamdulillah..
