Officer in Duty at the Parliament

My 1st ever experient entering the Parliament building today was very kelam kabut.

I was all alone, I arrived late because of traffic jam at Sg Besi, then I wasn’t sure with the road and when I arrived there was no more parking space left to park.

I was 15 mins late and it had already begun. As I opened the door, gladly, I saw a familiar face. He was Rizal, my fellow ptd mate

The 1st one and a half hour was the verbal answering session. There were 3 ques asked regarding my ministry. Later after that, bermula lah sesi gaduh2 yang selalu tengok kat berita tu. Able to watch this 1st hand was very seronok. But even how ‘hot’ the ‘discussion’ was, I still managed to take a 10mins nap (or maybe more). Told you I can sleep anywhere, anytime.

Lunch time, I had my lunch with Rizal. I didn’t know where my partner from MOH was and I wasn’t looking for him either. I guess, I’m more comfortable being with someone I knew. We had a long talk while waiting to come back in at 230. While other ptds are so busy with their works, there are still a few bunch like us who are still ‘loitering’ around doing nothing day in day out. Anyway later, we saw another familiar face. It was Ghani with a brand new hairstyle.

Like a bunch of schoolkids, we took turn taking pictures. I’m sure there will lots of time more for us attending the parliament in the future. Tapi saje nk amik gambar jugak.

Afternoon session was very dull and boring. Rizal and I took a nap few mins after it started. And Ghani woke me up once. Luckily, I wasn’t drooling. 

There was this one guy who slept and he snored. I couldnt help laughing. Nasib la x didengari oleh YDP.

Alhamdulillah it ended early at 540. I dropped Rizal at KTM Putra station. It was a bit of embarrassing because my car was very untidy, socks, shoes bergelimpangan.

Overall, it was a great experience. Hmph, from my observation today, whenever the ‘other’ party raised up their issues or commented on the govt systems, I can sense their unsatisfactory and wanting of ‘equality’ and ‘fairness’. Owh, fullstop, no politic talking..
