Birthday

It's Ma's birthday today.. Happy 50+ Birthday Ma!!!! So as this ex-JAD guy I used to have a crush on for the whole year I was at KYPM Bangi *wink*

We celebrated after break fast.. Kak Yanie bought a nice ice-cream cake.. Which I ate a really huge chunk (^^)V Akak sent a big bouquet of white roses.. (why is it white instead of pink which Ma likes best, no idea..) Everyone was there, (except for Akak and Abg Yie), it was a very happy evening..

At 1st, we decided to buy this crystal bracelet. Ma likes crystal.. Well, she feels safe wearing crystal than gold ever since we were robbed at home 3 years ago.. But then, Kak Yanti came-up with an idea to buy a kit to check glucose and cholesterol where Ma can use it anytime she wants.. Akak said it is a bad idea; the kit costs around RM500-600 but Ma will only use it once a month and Ma really likes to go the pharmacy after all to have a chat with the pharmacist, Ms.Yip ;)

So, went back to plan A. By that time, it was already Friday. I couldn't buy the present on Friday because I needed to accompany Ma for her post lasik check-up..

Sis Yanti came to pick me up later around 3 today. Went to Selayang Mall (the nearest mall to our house) to look for the present. We passed by this jewelery shop selling crystal bracelet but we were shocked to see the prices shown on the tag. So, we weren't even bother to ask.. Panic attacked becausa we didn't know what to buy.. Walked around Parkson, thinking of what to buy; A Corelle set? Bed sheet? A crystal vase? A steamer? worse of all, a very expensive non-stick sauce pan??? (*~*)

Ma is a very difficult person to please with present.. Ran out of idea after 2 hours.. Decided to go back empty handed and buy the present later.

We walked passed by that jewelery shop again. But this time, we asked for the price. It turned out that the real price is only half of what it is written on the tag.. How stupid were we.. Should've ask for it the 1st time we set eyes on that thing.. We wudnt hv wasted our time+energy.. We bought a very pretty pink crystal bracelet.. Ma likes it so much.. ;) Lucky us... Anyway, Pa gave Ma money for her to buy a freezer which she longs to buy a few months ago.. (Freezer?? very romantic Pa, hahahaha)

It is a very happy moment when everyone gathers around.. I just hope Ma and Pa can live long enough for them to see all their children get married and they get to enjoy that moment...

My dirty little secret 5

I liked to eat sweets when I was small.. (Who wasnt?) And I had to pull out my 1st geraham tooth as early as 4 years-old... I hate dental visit.. Every time Ma wanted to bring me to the dentist, I'll hide away; in the cupboard, under the bed, behind the door, at Ma's room balcony.. If they managed to find me, I cried out loud, refused to go and Pa had to carry me to the car..

Of course, Ma bribed me with something- I'll get one soft toy for each visit..
2years ago, I decided to wear braces and I had to pulled-out 4teeth; 2teeth at a time.. After that painful experience, I've became stronger and no longer afraid of going to the dentist...

It took me what, 20years to overcome my fear of the dentist? (^^)V

Buai laju-laju..

Bawang Putih, Bawang Merah; an Indonesian sinetron currently airing at TV3.. Owh, I have never seen anyone so evil, n another so naively stupid.. (Of course there are others like Hikmah, Dia, Malin Kundang, etc etc. I guess, all soap operas are like that) I watched it at times when I have nothing to do.. (It really made 'my blood go up-stairs' ;)

I wonder if someone such as Alya exist in this bad bad world.. Accept everything her evil step mother and sister did to her.. If someone ever did that to me, I definitely wont sit still.. I have lots of evil deeds in this demonic mind of mine ;) There is always rat poison to put in their food, cut their hair while they were asleep, put mercury metal in their drinks or a good punch at their stupid faces.. Well, that's just me... (^^)V Kids, don't follow this at home...

See, I'm no angel :)

All Grown up

The moment I knew I'm appointed to a job and leaving home to live by myself, I realise that certain things may never b the same again.. I think I'm becoming more like an adult should be now.. hehe..

1st of all, I reduce my long hours of watching telly.. ;) Hey, that is a big step ok.. Seriously, watching telly no longer excites me.. (ok lar, not at all doesn't excite me :) My free time are filled with reading serious stuff.. I go through my lecture notes, I read The Star from the front page, not from the Star Two section ;), read my dad's books, watch Discovery Channel and NG more often.. I dust my room almost everyday, all shiny and spotless, I keep my toilet so clean, one can even sleep in it, I sleep late and get up early and good time management (^^)V

Sounds dorky isn't it? Worry not, the biggest part of me is still the same.. A gurl who still has lots of fun with her own unique way... (And of course, I still have the Korean craze in me ;) Only a few things have change-for the best... See, I'm all grown-up (^^)/

I haven't received any letter from MOH. So, I guess, I'll start working after Hari Raya.. That means, I'm still entitle to duit raya.. ;) My last duit raya. In Chinese culture, one still receives angpau until one gets married.. That should be it, don't u think?

The thoughts of living on my own really scares the h*** out of me.. I know this may be childish for certain people.. But not for someone whose being so close to her family all her life..

Accompanied Ma to do her lasik today.. I always accompany her for her regular body check-ups at the hospital.. (Ma needs company, plus I can check on the good looking docs.. hee, kidding people ;)

Ma said, when I'm gone, no one's gonna accompany her anymore.. Ok that's really sad.. (Now I know why Ma didn't allow me to have a bf. Maybe, she fears I'll love him more than her)

Well, I don't mind not having any serious relationship because sometimes, I just wish I wouldn't have to get married, stay by her side forever and take care of her.. I hope I'll meet someone that can love my parents as much as I do... (If such person exists)

It's Ramadhan again..

It's that time of the year again..Ramadhan.. I lurve it!!! Selamat menyambut Ramadhan to all Muslims..

It is the 1st day of Ramadhan.. and I kinda miss fasting with my friends; at matrix KYPM and UKM hostel.. Life was so much simpler that time.. Usually, I only took a mug of Nestum+2glasses of water for sahur, and I was off to bed again. As for breaking fast, we went to pasar ramadhan and bought anything the heart desires ;) (Well, not really. I'm the type who's quite satisfy with just 1 meal. No kuih-muih. Just 1 heavy meal that could easily make me so sleepy during terawikh ;)

At home, I need to wake-up a little bit early to help Ma prepare sahur for the rest of the family. However, thanx to the newly hired maid, I sometimes skip lots of chores nowadays..hehe.. But, helping Ma at the kitchen is actually the quality time I spend with Ma.. We talk a lot, plus I can learn many stuff about cooking.. Sure gonna miss this when I'm gone *weep* (ok, I admit.I'm a mommy's gurl through n through ;)

Piercing anyone?

When I think of Ramadhan, 1 thing pop into my mind-Hari Raya.. I know, I know.I am not a child anymore to be excited bout Hari Raya.. ;)

Pa said, we won't be going back to Kelantan this year. Even if we did, we will head back to KL on the 2nd Hari Raya because Pian will be having his finals starting on the 4th Hari Raya..Owh, I have no problem with that at all ;)

There are 3 things I've been thinking of doing for quite so long-since last Hari Raya. Dye my hair violet (Violet??),pierce one more set at both ears and cut my hair short.

Why must it be violet? I saw this 1 chinese gurl dyed her hair purple once, n I fell in love with the colour..haha.. I think it's a cool colour.. (but warna rambut tu haram kan?)

Currently, I have 2 sets of piercings and when I told Ma about getting another, Ma said-"Buat la byk2, bia penuh telinga tu" ;)

about cutting my hair short... How short is short..? I know I'll regret the moment I cut my hair, but everytime I saw Peyton Sawyer's hair (from One Tree Hill-Season 3), my heart is screaming to have that hairstyle.. So cute.. (But would it be cute on me???)

At the end of the day, will I manage to accomplish any of the 3 things I mentioned above..?? ;)
I'll tell U when that actually happens (^^)V

If Only I knew what lies ahead

2 companies called me today. 1 was from a well-known confectionery company in Klang valley, calling me for an interview. Another was from Aeon, formerly known as Jusco asking whether I'm interested to be a Management Trainee in Health n Beauty at their HQ..(I did send my resume there)

My sister Sis Yanti, used to work as a nutritionist for Jusco's pharmacy, she knows how far the job prospect for a management trainee in Jusco can go..Of course there's gonna be an interview.. But my sister said, once you are shortlisted for an interview, it's 90% chance you'll be offered the job..Working at their HQ means, it's working hours; 9-5. Not shift hours.. easier to get promoted n after a few years, if you performed good, they'll send u to Japan for training.. Japan; I really want to go there..

But I've already been offered a job which I cannot refuse.. I really don't wanna leave KL.. I wanna stay here ;( And working for a Japanese company is always my passion..
Anyway, Allah knows what's the best for me.. right?

And who says my course has no prospect????

Bye2 KL

Kak Yanti who used to work in MOH Sabah, called me yesterday..She said, she contacted her friend in Sabah, which is the boss for PTM(Peg.Tekno Mknn) Sabah regarding vacant post for PTM through-out M'sia.. She informed me, there are 5 vacancies at Sabah, 21 at JAKIM, 1 vacancy each at Johore, Kedah, Kelantan, T'ganu & S'wak.. (No vacancy at all in KL!!!!) She told me to call MOH 1st to request which state I choose.. Don't wait for them to call me..

The problem is, I havent decided yet where I wanna go.. Of course, if i chose S'wak, or Sabah, the pay will be slightly higher than other peninsula states.. Between money n happiness, I absolutely choose happiness..

If everything goes well, 2 of my sisters will further their studies overseas next Sept.. My eldest sister, Akak is in Kelantan.. It's not easy to transfer to KL.. Furthermore, she hates staying in KL, with all the jams, the flood.. Ma will be alone.. The sons r different from daughters if u know what I mean..

Ma feels very sad when I said, I may consider going to Sabah.. She said, she's gonna miss me terribly.. :( I'm the closest to her.. Since I never leave Sgor, so I live the longest with her.. Even tough I did my matrix & my 1st degree in Bangi, I went home every weekend.. It seems like I never leave home at all.. Poor Ma, I understand how she feels.. If the decision is in my hand, I wouldn't wanna leave home..

Next choice would be Kelantan.. I'm quite familiar with that state since both of my parents were born there.. My grandparents still live in KB anyway.. I have some issues with them, so I'm not that interested to stay in Kelantan.. My eldest sister is now, working in T'ganu, but she request to transfer back to Kelantan.. MOH hasn't decided yet which district she has to go.. But if I wanna go to Kelantan, the lab is in KB.. T'ganu, Kedah, Johore: I hv no relatives staying there.. and JAKIM, I don't think I'll end up in JAKIM, coz from what I heard, they want the experienced PTM from MOH to work with them..

If I wanna work in peninsular state, I have to decide early.. If not, I may ended up in Sabah or S'wak!!!!

PTD Assessment Centre (PAC)

Just got back from Kluang last night.. 3 awesome days at INTAN Kluang..

The assessment started on the 15th but I started my journey to Johor a day before.. I went to Akis' house in Muar.. Actually, that was my 1st long journey trip alone.. ;B I'm such a loser.. I haven't been out of Selangor that much (except for going back to Kelantan to my parents' hometown).. I'm a daily school product, I did my Matrix n my degree in Bangi, so Selangor is where I've been living all my life..

Went to Kluang with Akis.. Akis' dad drove the car. Her dad (a PTD as well) is very friendly and funny ;) Arrived there at 10.. Registered ourselves at Dewan Jemerlang.. (Why is it Jemerlang instead of Cemerlang, I have no idea) Everyone's wearing a number..All the participants were known by their numbers..I was participant number 99 and Akis was number 100.. Nice number isn't it? Anyway, the chalet rooms are unexpectedly beautiful.. Similar to a 4* hotel room.. Unfortunately, I got the old building's room. not bad though.. Fully air-cond, complete with my own bathroom, telly, iron, ironing board, electric kettle, fridge etc etc..

For 3 days, I felt like I'm in a reality show.. I think, most of us were trying so hard to be someone else, some may be faking.. Anyway, can't blame them, for we had to show the best in order to compete against each other..

We had 7 activities in 3 days.. Decision making, problem solving, public speaking in Malay and English, parliamentary debate.. and 2.4km run. I managed to get below 18mins for the run.. Yippee..!! For each activity, we were sorted out in a different group, so we won't be meeting the same person.. At the end of the day, we got to know almost everyone in the assessment..

Actually, on Saturday, Sis Yanti broke the news. I got the offer for Food Tech Officer under the Ministry of Health.. Alhamdulillah.. I'm so thrilled till I felt like I no longer want to be in Kluang.. But the secretariat advised me to stay and enjoy the weekend there. And so I did.

I finished the whole assessment with lesser burden on my shoulder because I care less about getting a spot as PTD. Unable to proceed to the next stage won't be too stress anymore..

The management people booked the ticket for everyone who's going back to KL by bus.. I think the bus was booked just for us.. Quite a lot of us come from KL other than Johorean.. Talking about husband's candidate, I didn't manage to get any.. *Laugh*

But I enjoyed looking at the good looking ones *Wink* (There's this guy look like Anuar Zain!!! and this chatty guy at the back row whom couldn't stop talking. Nasib muka jambu) I haven't been in any serious relationship for quite a long, long, long, long time.. I even forget how it feels like... ;)

Overall, it is a good experience.. Something I won't forget in my whole life..

Right Akis? Wish you all the best on your next journey to become a PTD, Akis!!!

Lee Dong Wook-SARANG HA YO!!!

Sorry, I'm so obsess with the leading actor from the KDrama My Girl

I forced my sister to watch; just an excuse so I can watch it again.. hee... How I miss Gong Chan.. :(

Lee Dong Wook aka Seol Gong Chan in My Girl.. How can I not fall in love with him???? (drool)

This drama will be aired at 8tv this sept.. Watch it.. It's great.. For I have watched more than 50 KDramas, I think this is the best Krama forever n ever.. Nothing has ever been this enjoying.. This drama'll make u laugh (a lot) n cry (just a little bit) .. It is a typical KDrama-boy-meets-gurl, but in the middle, the plot is quiet different compare to others.. When I say it's the BEST, there is no bad comment about it from me..

This drama is among the dramas that received the highest rating in Korea n many other countries.. The OST is also awesome.. I have watch it many times n never felt boring.. The jokes r still hilarious n still cry at the touchy scenes.. I downloaded My Girl via torrent, (a week or two later than what was aired in Korea-I have to wait for the complete subs) and it killed me everytime I had to wait for the next episode.. My brother have made it into a dvd set-with the best pic(HD version) and subs (english subs-great one).

The girl's character is very very very funny. That what makes the drama so interesting, plus, she's very pretty.. and of course Gong Chan Oppa, is a kingka(handsome guy) through and through..

Happy Merdeka Day!

1st of all, I like to wish all Malaysian, Happy Merdeka Day!!

Well, just like the previous 21 years of living, I celebrated my merdeka's eve at home.. I'm having the time of my life lazing around in front of the telly.. and this year I watched Gandhi and TaeGukgi (What, AGAIN??!! I cant resist 2 hunks in 1 movie??)..

The last time I watched Gandhi was 15years ago.. I was 7 that time.. What does a 7-year-old kid know the true meaning of the word Independence..? So, this time, I watched it with full concentration..(Well, I did switch channel at the boring parts :)
I cried... Yup, I do and I know it's really ridiculous if I told u that I also shed tears watching Taegukgi eventhough I've watched it so many times already.. (>_<)

I've removed my braces!!!!!!!! Hurray, yippee, andre andre!!! 2years of pain, and none stop ulcers.. It is really really a big relieve I'm no longer having it in my mouth.. I'm BRACES FREE!!!!!!

Talking about Msian merdeka day.. I see no point of celebrating it outside, or going to Dataran Merdeka or KLCC watching live concerts.. (I experienced the one and only time celebrating new year at KLCC, and I don't think I wanna go through all the hardship ever again in my entire life.. ;)

We should thank the God and be very grateful that Malaysia is still in peace, no war, no invaders, people are living happily in Malaysia (even the non-Msian - The PATIs)...

So, let us not forget to pray to God n hope that Msia is always in peace...

Peace y'all

My dirty little secret 4

When I was small, when everyone wanted to be a doctor when they grow-up, I just wished that I'm married to one..

Oh yes, I wanted to be a beautiful runway model or a stewardess... hahaha
My dream crushed because I'm stuck at 5'2" and of course, those aren't good careers for Muslim women..
So, I'll stick to the 1st one..Where's my 'Doc Right"..?!! hahaha, kidding..

Saw the complete set at 1 of the video stores in KL selling at RM169!!!! Thank God I downloaded it via Torrent-get the best quality of pic n subs and much much cheaper... (Unfortunately, can't do that anymore.. Streamyx throttle my p2p.. UWAAAAAA, WHY STREAMYX WHY????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (T.T)

Lucas Scott vs Tristan Dugray

I get to know this guy named Chad Michael Murray when I 1st watched Gilmore Girls in year 2000 which his character is as Tristan, the over-privileged prep school tormentor of Rory .. It was love at 1st sight.. ;) He's just a co-star though and he has this big crush on Rory..

In the middle of season 2, Tristan had to go to military school, so that's the end of Tristan in Gilmore Girls.. Murray stars in a few films then I get to see him again in One Tree Hill (^^)/

One Tree Hill Season 3 Malaysian premiere will air at 8tv next week... So glad I get to see him again .. <3>

As for Lucas Scott vs Tristan Dugray, I'll definitely go for Lucas Scott.. I always prefer smart guy *wink*

When Sally met Milly (what??!!)

Walaupun aku bukan celebrity-takde sape nak komen aku berbahasa ape dalam blog aku ni, tapi kenela jugak tulis dalam Bahasa Melayu.. Macamlar terer sangat cakap omputehnyerrr

Al-kisahnye,arini aku exam SPA lagi di SMK Wgsa Melawati plak kali ni. Masa exam PTD dulu, start kul830, pergi kul845 baru msuk.

Dah abih exam, aku keluar. Nak sandar kat dinding sekolah2 Malaysia ni kene hati2, kane check dulu cat byk kapur ker, nanti lekat kat baju plak. Lepas je aku gosok2 kt dinding tu,1 jeritan yang agak kuat kedengaran:

"YAYA!!!"

Maka, luar dewan SMK Wgsa Melawati menjadi saksi pertemuan aku dan Shariza Dilla (minah yg pakai baju 2 lapis tu ;). Lame tak jumpe beb. Ade 2thn kot. So'nye' (gaya Pn.Rosima, lec kimia yang garang mase Matrix), kitorang pun berpelukan tanpa mempedulikan orang ramai ala2 dlm rancangan jejak kasih.. Nsb tak menitis air mata jer ;) hehe...

Windu giler kat Sha ni.. Aku rse dlm geng kitorg yang takla berapa ramai mase Matrix tu, die lar yang aku pling rapat. B4 die msuk bilik A428, die budak bilik bawah. Tup,tap, die dah ade kat bilik sebelah.. Kitorang kuliah sme-Kuliah Grup B. Aku da perasan die mase kt bilik kuliah awal2 dulu. Sokmo duduk depan. Punye la baik..hehehe... Da msuk geng aku, Aimul,Irra, Enny, dah takdok depan dah.. ;) Ape namenye tu-ha, Pengaruh rakan sebaya ^^q

Die still lagi ngn lawak2 spontan die yg kadang kala diam2 ubi berisi ade maksud tersirat (punah dah Bhs Melayu aku).. Tapi macam kurus sikit la Sha.. Pe petua ko nih, kedekut xmo share dengan aku ek.. InsyaAllah kite akan jumpe lagi kn? 2hbSept ni die konvo, jadi, enjoy your day tau!! Kalo tak mahu continue study lagi, tular konvo pertama dan terakhir ko ;)

Overall, exam kali ni takla sesusah exam PTD aritu. Math die pun aku sempat siap sume. Paper pengetahuan am die pun banyak jugak soklan sains.. Alhamdulillah.. Sha dapat 2 kertas soklan untuk paper pe tah tadi, kalo die seludup kuar pun orang xperasan. Leh jual kat org.. hehe.. Pekan daya, beg Sha dan beg aku comel sangat..

My convocation

My convocation day.. Only Ma and Pa attended my convo.. Since Sis Yanie is still warded, Sis Yanti needs to take care of Hannah, Bro Wan is in school, Bro Pian has classes to attend to..
On the way to Bangi, we stopped by at Petaling Street.. Ma bought me a bouquet of lilies.. It's gorgeous.. ;)

I thought it would be boring and alone with no friends I know in that big DECTAR hall.. But, on the way there, I saw Huda.. My ex-housemate.. It was a big relieve to see her.. At least, I have someone to talk to..

Then, there were a bunch others that I know-members of PMFST.. We took lots of pic together.. Pity my camera was with my parents..

Anyway, I purposely queued last for my fac.. They said, the last person for every Fac, will get a big applause from the audience.. In the hall, behind us was a bunch of male students from the Fac of IT.. They were very "entertaining".. They talk bout lots of things.. Amusing things.. I cant help but laugh at it silently ;) Anyway, I did receive that big applause (^^)/

After the ceremony, meeting up with my parents, I saw Hong Keat.. He's my x-coursemate.. A very nice Penang guy.. Took pictures together.. And then, out of nowhere, I saw Sarah, my housemate.. We were screaming as if we havent met for 10 years.. I miss her so much.. She was my housemate for 2 years.. Later, she bought me a rose.. Sweet isn't she..??

Took some more pics with my parents, then off we went to see Sis Yanie at HKL..
That's all...

A new baby in the family

Yesterday was SisYanie's bday.. And my nephew was born today!!! Yey..!!

Yup, my sis delivered her baby today- C-section.. Her baby is big so the doc advised her to do the operation.. Alhamdulillah, both the mother and son are in good state..

My, my.. The baby weighs 4.5kg.. 10pound!!! Hannah, her 1st baby was big too- 4.2kg..! Both her babies weigh double the weight of an average baby which is 2.5kg..

My mother is very much interested of the name Harris.. My sis thinks it is a very nice name too.. So do we.. His name might either Wan Mohd Harris or Wan Ahmad Harris.. Which one sounds better??
Next year, they can celebrate their birthdays together.. ;) Hope Hannah will b a very good sister to Harris..
