Only this time
Luckily my flight is at 10am on Monday. Mr.Joe will pick us up at KLIA and I'll be heading to the office later. I've told my boss that I'll come in a bit late. Well, it's a bit funny eh. It's like this office is owned by me. Suka suki nak masuk pukul bape. Minta ampun banyak2. Up to date 3rd July 2009, I never take any EL or MC. If I have an appointment at the hospital, I'll take leave because I know it'll take at least half a day and I don't think it's fair to punch in-out but spent the whole day at the hospital.
Yey, tomorrow is Saturday again ;)

Wish everyday is weekend day
As for Sunday, instead of going to Hazli's wedding, I spent my time lazying on my bed with the laptop doing online window shopping and later watched The Girl Next Door, Prom Night and The Accidental Husband. The Girl Next Door is kinda creative, Prom Night is stupid and The Accidental Husband is too predictable. Mr.Joe was not answering my smses, he must have been busy or asleep or he needed a time out, err, from me..hehe.. I have been very clingy lately.
Next weekend, I'll be heading to Langkawi with Nonie. This is my first single short vacation trip without the family. Bought the ticket when the mind wasn't thinking right. I was feeling rather down that day. Anyway, I was kinda excited. But strictly no sunbathing. I don't need tanned, scaly skin on my wedding day, do I?

Now you see me, next you wont..
I started to think that death is so near to us. God can take my life even before my finger manage to strike a key on the keyboard if He wants to.
Islam asks it's people to think about death every single second. And when I'm mad or angry of someone especially the loved ones, I started to think, what if I were never gonna see them again the next moment I blinked my eyes. What if I never had the chance to say I Love You one last time. But if I was hurt by someone, I couldn't help myself from thinking that if I were to die now, I kinda hope he/she will feel remorseful for the rest of his/her life for hurting me and never had the chance to say sorry. Yes, evil, I know..
I read in Cleo mag that men hate when women ask them, "How would you feel if today is the last time seeing me alive" Hell they wouldn't want to think about it at all. Men's thinking is more simple than women. "What's in the present, I'll deal it with but for something in the future, I'll deal with it when it happens, IF it happens" Well, I have plenty of experiences being scolded for saying the word DEATH.
When saying about death or separation, it's not that we want it to happen. We just don't want to think too much what to do next when it actually happens. Most women will always think of Plan B If Plan A went wrong and some men called them pessimistic. And I was always being called that.
Well, I was born to be independent. Women should be able to do things men can do. Women should have education, a secure job, savings, a car, a house and sometimes be as bold as men. Women shouldn't depend solely on her men. Yes, true he was the man you're so madly in love when you got married last time but you'll never know what will happen when you turn fat, ugly and bitter 20 years from now with 4 kids who are still in school. If you have savings, education/job, you can still survive on your two feet eventhough your husband is getting married to a lady 15years younger.
Anyway, I always believe that when there's no death or separation, one can never know the meaning of having someone by his/her side. We have to think about being separated in order to appreciate the loved ones. But many of us tend to take things for granted until it's already too late.
Everytime the car drive pass by my accident place every day, I kept reminding myself how I nearly died that day. God has given me another chance to be with my loved ones and I really2 appreciate it. I wish to be with my family and Mr.Joe every second of my life. Been able to hug and kiss my mom, having to hear Mr.Joe's laugh and see his twinkling brown eyes, priceless..
The word I Miss You is not only for the one you hardly see. Uttering those 3 words to the person you don't see for 3 hours may sound very cheesy but it does create a smile.
~Words can be very simple but it also manage to give a very deep impact without you knowing it.

The one that really cares..
Even the clowns. And people always say, the one who really cares for you is the one who stays and frequently checks on your condition every couple of hours just to make sure you need a hug or anything else when you turned sour or when you said "Leave me alone".
But some just remained for the sake of happy times and left when you were no longer fun to be with leaving message such as, "Your mood aren't good, I'll leave you alone" therefore he/she wont deal with your grumpiness and ended-up quarreling over a tiniest thing..
How sad is that..
1 Month, 2 Weeks and 3 Days to go
I checked on the beads, OMG, OMG, OMG!!! The beads are no longer silvery or gold in colour. Tears falling down the cheeks.. I even pinched my cheeks to see whether I'm dreaming. The 4-month-job flushes down the drain, just like that. It's either the shop is selling fake miyuki beads or the dress was exposed to too much sunlight.
Then I checked on the Miyuki website, there are sooooooooo many type of beads with different durability. Mine must have had the weakest durability.
I told Mr.Joe and he said it's fated and don't be too sad about it. Nothing can be done to undo the whole thing. I said I want to redo the whole thing. He said as long as I'm happy, do it then. Then I replied saying I'm not happy redoing the whole thing. Mr.Joe said back, don't do it if I'm not happy. I continued saying I won't be happy either if I didn't do it because the dress will look shabby. Mr.Joe was confused and he said nothing more. hehe
Anyway, the incident happened today made me think on how I actually wanted him to react on that matter. Then I remember the 1st few chapters of Men Are From Mars and Women Are From Venus when the women actually want to be pitied when they are telling their partners their problems. Women do not want solutions neither do they want a fixing plan.
I want empathy and nurturing when bad things happened to me. I feel loved by the one that cares. I don't mind people saying, "That's so sad, I pity you". "If that ever happened to me..oh, I don't want to think about it." "Here, let me give you a hug". Ok, that's me. But men are totally different. When bad things happened to their friends they would just say, "You'll get through with it" and the next thing is, they are talking about sports.
I just want to lie down. I wish I have my car now and drive to nowhere while listening to the music. I miss my Kenari. I hope Bro Pian is taking good care of her.

Akhir zaman
Sampai di ofis masih lagi mamai plus sakit perut. Ingat nak pergi toilet, tapi bukak FB dulu. Bukak page kawan, then bukak page gefren die sebab nak tengok gamba gefren die. Kawan saya ini Indian kacuk Serani. Saya tengok gefren macam Melayu. Nama depan Melayu, nama kedua ade nama ala2 orang puteh (sebut dengan slang). Okeylah, orang Sabah or Sarawak or Serani macam die kot. Saya browse ke bawah lagi, Astaghfirullah, orang Melayu rupenye....
Terbukak luas mata sepet saya yang hampir2 tutup tadi. Sakit perut pun hilang. Terkejut.
Orang yang komen selepas die tu pun sama spesies. Beraninya mereka memaparkan status begini, memperlekehkan Islam kepada orang ramai.
Dunia dah menghampiri akhir zaman.
Apa patut saya buat? Kalau berlaku betul2 di depan mata saya seseorang tu mengkeji Islam, bagaimana reaksi saya agaknye? Apa patut saya balas? Dengan cara marah2? Cara lembut? Ia telah membuat saya berfikir. Ilmu agama saya masih sangat cetek. Saya perlu belajar dengan lebih dalam lagi..

Oh, my, it's Monday..
Saturday was spent attending 2 weddings. 1 in Bukit Jelutong and another was just nearby to my house. Sunday was spent spring cleaning my room. Man, I never knew I have sooooo many clothes. The clothes are never outgrown because what you see now, err, I mean before DPA is what you see me 10 years ago. I packed some into a bag that I will bring to my future house which I haven't bought yet. Garu kepala tengok baju kurung yang berlambak2. Ni lepas kawin kene beli wardrobe besar if nak share dengan Mr.Joe or I have to have my own wardrobe.
Anyway, I bought a new bed for my room. Need to start decorating my room now. No longer 2 single beds dengan palang macam katil baby in my room. Hehe, it's actually a double-decker bed. I used to share my room with Sis Yanti. Need to find a new house secara serius to put the beds. Ma's house is so packed. No more empty room to put the extra beds.
And the night is spent sorting the unwanted stuff. I threw all of my undergrads note. Sedih. Keeping only the books. ader la setinggi pinggang kertas2 yang perlu dihantar ke pakcik recycle 30sen/kg. All the nicknacks given for my birthdays and etc, were dumped into the bin. I took pictures of them 1st as remembrance. Slept at 4 and now I can barely open my eyes. Luckily Mr.Joe was driving, I slept all the way to Putrajaya this morning.
I can't wait for my new bed to be delivered today. And I have a full closet of nicknacks and old stuff to be thrown. Pejam mata dan buang. Jangan ade second thoughts, nanti dah ikat dalam plastik sampah pun boleh gi korek balik.
~Nak cat bilik kaler ape eh..

Govt Likely To Put Cap On Number of Papers Taken For Fairer PSD Selection
PUTRAJAYA: Students sitting for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia examination may not be allowed to take as many subjects as they like in future.
This is to put an end to claims on unfairness in the award of Public Service Department scholarships.
Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said that, as things stood now, students in government schools had no limit on the number of subjects they could take, meaning that those from other schools, like fully residential ones, were “disadvantaged”.
This would be among several matters to be discussed at a special meeting next week.
Reacting to the proposals, academicians agreed that it was vital that students enjoy their teen years and not spend all their time focusing on academic success only.
They also said that for entry into public universities, it was the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia or matriculation results which mattered, not the SPM.
More about doctors being "abused"
Why treat housemen shabbily?
THERE has been so much hype on the tough life a houseman faces. As a parent of a final-year student, l totally agree how depressing it can be for young housemen just graduated after a grueling five to six years of study – and not all are government sponsored – to be treated so shabbily that they would want to leave the service, no thanks to the system.
Even as final-year students, they are sent to hospitals and are kept on their toes for anything between 10 and 12 hours a day without a weekend off.
How do you expect them to study with the exams around the corner? Mind you, most students already decide to leave as soon as they graduate.
To make matters worse, the consultant comes in and verbally abuses those poor housemen who have been in the hospital for over 24 to 40 hours.
They are even called “stupid” and “donkey” in front of their patients!
It is really absurd to be made to work continuously in the most inhuman manner, depriving them of sleep and rest.
What irks me most is why aren’t housemen subjected to the same labour laws of the country as other civil servants – eight hours of work and overtime to be paid for on-call duty and a rest day in between calls?
Why is it so difficult for us to follow the foreign practice in which housemanship is for one year and subsequently, the houseman can decide whether he or she wants to continue or leave the service.
Come on, doctors need a life too!
R.K.S.,
Bidor, Perak.
Come on la makcik, get yourself a tv and watch ER, Grey's Anatomy, and all those dramas about doctor's life.
Incomplete..
Here we go,
From the top, nice tudung.
Bermanik, berberlian, berambu-ramba, berbelit2..
Owh the bags.. Authenthic designer's handbag. LV, Chanel, Coach, Gucci, Dior, ori ke tak, I can't tell. From the pay we received, I think it's just extremely expensive to have one unless you are now at JUSA stage or you saved your monthly pay and spent RM800 for a JUST a bag or you have a rich hubby, boyfriend, daddy or sugar-daddy.
The outfit.
Colourful baju kurung, baju kebaya, baju kurung Pahang, with decorations, beads, lip lap, lip lap..
Bam, the feet.
Selipar jepun or sandal "bogel" berbagai warna kecepak kecepuk, sret, sret, melintas jalan raya..
Fear of the Unknown..
Macam best jer...
Zaman mak2 kita dulu, memang kebanyakannye bercinta selepas berkahwin.
Zaman sekarang, bercinta bagai nak rak sampai bertahun2, jumpe 1 lelaki baru, tibe2 kawin selepas 3 bulan berkenalan. Ayat orang biasa, Dah namanya jodoh..
3 months and you suddenly decided to spend the rest of your life with him/her without having the extra longer time to risik? Tak takut ker?
*
During the 1st year, Mr.Joe and I had the best time of all. Able to see him only a couple of hours each month therefore every minute was spent with love. Then, DPA came. More time were spent together, the more we saw each other, the more we realised each other's flaws and amazingly, the more we fought. There were a few times when I felt that we were not suitable for each other but I had to at least give it a try to make it successful. And I think we did pass the getting-to-know-the-real-you stage and now we are adjusting ourselves with the new environment avoiding the dislikes of both parties. We hope and pray for the best of us..
*
As the marriage thing getting nearer each day, I've been getting a lot of:
Lepas kawin nanti nampak la perangai sebenar
Sebelum kahwin taik gigi pun rasa coklat
Masa bercinta janji nak buat kerja rumah sama2, lepas kahwin, kita penat buat kerja, suami tahu nak itu je bila malam menjelma.
Horror..
Tak, we all nak you bersedia yang marriage is not just about having fun. Most guys will change after marriage and the wife changes too because the husband is no longer the man she dated.
**
"20 things you should know about guys" stated in this magazine. one of it:
1. Romantic guys do not exist. Dont expect that your guy will surprise you with home-cooked-candle-light dinner for your anniversaries or birthdays. It only happens in Korean Drama and Hollywood Movies.
Guy to his gurl: See, most guys are like that. Why do u expect me to be different from our lot?
"20 things you should know about women"
1. Women like shopping. They can spend hours or the whole day at the shopping mall without having a slightest thought of you.
Gurl saying to the her guy: See, most women like shopping. Why cant you accept that this is our nature?
And the fight goes on and on and on defending the features of each gender refusing to change or be slightly different from the normal description instead of trying to adapt to the new environment... Haih..

Where do we stand..
I have been on the twitter for a week and earlier today, I sent out this tweet: “6A1s get PSD eng s’ship - 13, 14 A1s no s’ships: why our Cabinet Ministers allow such nonsense yr in yr out. Sack the whole useless lot!”The never-ending story when it comes to PSD's scholarship. And so he has spoken.. Read more..
Hmm, my brother gets 10As and he didn't get the scholarship. He did quite good in his curriculum compare to those I know of that managed to get the scholarship. Therefore, I think it's more than just nerd looking kids with good grades when choosing a scholar.
I read the above entry and all those comments given below. Scary mary when they are thinking that way of you-know-what.. "Others" are thinking lowly of "us" and yet we are securing our place as champions of corruption, samseng jalanan, night clubbers, drug addicts/dealers, sex offences...
It's time to wake up people..
The betrayers.. (edited)
UD41 shouldnt be applying for management work. Make yourself available at the hospital.
Then this friend of mine who will be doing her 5 year compulsory service at the govt hospital end of this year gave a remark that housemanship at Malaysia's Govt Hospital equals to SLAVERY. Then this other friend who is a PTD himself said that SLAVERY is for doctors who want to do management works.
If the ratio of doctor to patient become higher than 1:2000, our country may have to procure doctors. Seriously, we are procuring doctors now. "Buying" them in bulk from other country.
Shortage of doctors is happening all around the world. It is a critical post indeed. And Malaysia doesn't manage to produce enough doctors because of shortage of lecturers. It's like a cycle. Therefore we send them to study abroad. Sadly, not all came back to serve the country.
Who is to blame?
JPA? Because they are not stern enough to those who breach the contract? Charging minimal penalty which they can easily pay and butt off?
Or The Govt? for giving them such a low pay to G's MO therefore they are seduced to work in other countries? Or giving minimal medical charges to immigrants that causes the hospital loaded with them and extra workload to the doctors?
Well whatever it is, that's not the point. You have signed the contract. You agreed to serve the Go for 10 years when you have done with your degree but then you BETRAY the country by accepting other offers abroad.
How selfish is that?
You actually abandoned your team at your birth country. You used the people's money to reach your goals and yet, you served others. You are supposed to work hand in hand and share the burden together. Where's your loyalty??
I think the numbers are significant enough IF all those medical students came back to serve, the ratio won't be as ridiculous as 1:2000, the workload won't be that big and Malaysian doctors will be less bitter.
Would you agree that they are just damn selfish?
Food and Fat..
I walked passed this slimming centre at Mines a few weeks ago. Man, that place was packed with people. Seeking for advises to join or not to join the centre to slim down the fat zones. By watching the advertisements, these places indirectly are telling people that you don't have to exercise or go through the hardway to get a better shape. I gawked the very 1st time I saw it. Seriously, boleh kurus sesenang itu ke?? Dari 70kg turun ke 50kg. Then I was telling myself I wanted to save my money and did a spot reduction. Gile obses kan.. That was before I had Mr.Joe in my life.
Anyway, joining the slimming centre isn't as easy as it looks. I have a friend who spent RM10K++ for the slimming programme. She was given medication or food supplement, needed to attend the session for massaging, sauna, slim-wrap and what nots plus the do's and dont's in eating habit. It is almost the same as reading a Trim, Trim, Trim Those Fat book. They'll teach you to eat healthily. Amazingly you managed to follow all those rules because you knew you have spent thousands of $$$ therefore you wanted to make it worth it.
Getting a good shape and maintaining it is all about discipline and how you withstand your yearning for food.. which many of us don't have...
Minute writing
None..
This is the task I hate most. And I hate it even more when I had to ask the members of the meeting to check on the particulars and they insisted on changing the Chairman's decision or the dateline of the task given during the meeting. So far, the Chairman didn't seem to remember what he decided during the last meeting and depend solely on the minutes.
True, everyone is afraid of the Chairman, but the dateline were given by you. If you think the dateline can't be achieved, then give a longer one. And if I published the minutes according to the Chairman's word without having the member the chance to amend it beforehand, they will blame me as if I wrote the wrong thing..haish..
I'm so glad the work has been taken over by person in charge..
Another 2 more meeting minutes to be done.. p(^^)q

Old am I?
Going back to Kuching brings back old memory. I lived in Kuching for almost 2 years in year 1988 till 1989. Eventhough I was only 4 going 5 years old, I still remember some of the places like the airport, Seberkas, Sarawak Plaza, Pasar Satok, my Sinaran Kidergarten (where I once peed in the class), the banglo we lived at Jalan Batu Bata. I love Kuching..
Anyway, going back to the office on Friday, I was greeted by a new PTD officer. She looks young and the bubbly type of girl. She approached me at my place for a proper introduction. When she..
The writing was interrupted by the alarm sound. Closed IE, packed my handbag and headed out. Only to be told that it was a false alarm. Someone in the library did something that triggered the alarm. Sia2 aku panic ingat ade gegaran seperti yang berlaku hujung tahun 2007.
Continued~
She introduced herself and so did I. N her next sentence,
Nak panggil ape eh? Kak Suraya?
I was speechless for a moment because never in my life someone suggested to call me that.
Seeing my blank face, she asked how old I am.
Baru 25 tau. Panggil nama jer. Nak panggil Su boleh, Yaya pun boleh.
You know what I did when she left? I checked my face at the mirror for wrinkles and the clothes I wore. Do I really looked old?
She graduated from a 4-year-degree course last year, she couldn't be younger than 23. Hell I am only 2 years older. Well, I noticed that she calls everyone by the name Kak except me. When she introduced herself to Lin last Monday, she addressed Lin as Kak too and Lin commented,
She smiled sheepishly telling she is 23 years old.
Anyway, I remember what Yati told me when I first came to this Dept,
If sama level 41 or lower, umur 40 tahun lebih je panggil Kak. Tapi itu pun tengok jugak, kadang2 orang tak suke. If selevel 41, umur lebih kurang, panggil nama je. If die announce herself as Kak, baru kite pun gune Kak.
Hmm, communication skills..

Not enough isn't it?
Kejam ke if saya kata, kalau kurang mampu, jangan la beranak banyak.. Yer, Rasulullah menyuruh umatnya beranak banyak supaya meramaikan umat. Tapi if nasib anak terumbang-ambing, tak ke sekolah, tak tahu 3M, bila besar stress lalu menjadi mat rempit, merompak, jadi GRO sebab tak tahu nak buat kerja lain, umat Islam yang macam inikah yang kita mahu?
And then, semalam berita pasal mat rempit, ditemuramah mat rempit ni punca dia merempit, dengan lancar dia kata, "sebab mak bapak. Kat rumah stress jadi kita merempit ar. Hilang stress sikit."
InsyaAllah..
Still have but toned down.. Yer right..
KUALA LUMPUR:Since Merdeka falls in the fasting month, why cant all those parades and performances substitute with solat terawikh peringkat kebangsaan plus solat hajat?
This year's Merdeka celebrations will be scaled down this year, said Information, Communications and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim.
He said this was because the celebrations coincided with Ramadan, which is expected to begin on Aug 22.
"It is to respect the fasting month. We will still have the Merdeka parade, but celebrations will be scaled down," he said after a dialogue with artistes and non-governmental bodies at the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (Finas) yesterday.
He said musical performances would be toned down, however, participation from NGOs would be encouraged.
"We hope to get as many of them involved in the celebrations."
Rais added he would hold a meeting with ministry officials at the end of the month to discuss the matter.
On another matter, Rais said that he was mulling a suggestion to form a corporation that would look into the music industry.
"We have Finas looking at the welfare of film-makers but we are looking at suggestions to have a separate body to look after our music industry."
Ah, Mr. Joe will still be busy on the transport thing for the celebration.. Sigh

April is over
"Wat payment"
"Huh"
"Via m2u"
"Beli baju lagi la tu"
"Baju2 lame nak discard, ni baju untuk jadi isteri"
"Yo lah"
Ehehehe, Mr.Joe bengang. Promise, this is the last. Bought a white long cardigan, a t-shirt blouse and a long vintage skirt which cost less than RM40 altogether.
Pssst, and I bought a DKNY Be Delicious for only RM20 a week ago. Barang rampas and it's lid is broken a bit. Bila spray kena hati2. If nak spray kat leher, make sure posisi betol n tak terspray ke telinga. Memang barang baik punye. Ori DKNY yang tahan selama 8 jam..
April is the month to pamper meself. I've had enough spending my paycheck this month. Phew..
As for birthday, Mr.Joe fetched me at home with a bouquet of flowers and a cute kitty cat underneath the seat yesterday. Mr.Joe was clueless about buying me a pressie. He said I already have everything I need in this world. So he gave me an option to choose anything I want and he'll pay. It's like been given a blank check, just fill in the figures and cash it.. Havent thought of anything, just yet.. Anyway, that diamond ring on the display at Habib is really nice, hmmm...
The family and I dined out that night. Stuffed ourselves with satays and ABC. Gile kenyang, balik tu tido. Mane perut tak naik jadi 7kg.
I really couldnt believe myself that I am now 25 years of age. Anyway, I got a lot of,
"Form berape sekarang?"
from the honourable relatives of mine whom I met like maybe just once a year during hari raya. The same ol' ques even how thick the make-up I was using
Ah, I took that as a compliment =)

Hoping for a better week..
I slept last night thinking and recalling the life I've been through.. All these while, I've wasted my precious life. I have done nothing to improve it from day to day. And I couldn't help myself from crying. I was really grateful when I opened my eyes this morning because I was still lying on my comfy bed. WanMot was nowhere to be seen. I remembered ditching him last night. Well, hmm..
It still amazes me up till now when Ma always knew everything. I cant hide anything from her. It's like she's been given a gift from God. She looked at me this morning, "Gaduh ker?". I gave her a weak smile, kissed and hugged her then dashed to the car.
"Hati2 drive. Jangan bawa laju2. Ingat Allah selalu. Gaduh2 kecik tu biaselah."
Thanx Ma. Well, it's true, gaduh kecik2 ni biase la kan. We always quarreled and managed to get back together in not more than 2 days..
Trying not to think so much about it, I took the MR2 road when I saw the cars were piling up towards Jalan Kuching.
Damn, ade eksiden plak kat split ke Karak Highway tu. Cursing all the way.. @#$%^&*(*(&^%$.
MR2 ni pantang jalan clear, mesti ade pemandu2 giler yang drive laju nak mampus tak ingat kubur. I got stranded there for 30 mins. Rasa macam nak bukak tingkap and cakap kat pemandu tu, lainkali bawa la keta laju2 lagi. menyusahkan orang je tau tak. @#$%^&*!!!!! Tapi tak cakap pun. Dalam hati ni, Ingat Allah, ingat Allah..
Then, there was another accident near the split to Putrajaya to the left, Uniten going straight and Bangi to the right. I was in the middle, a red Kenari came from the left signaled to the right towards UNITEN, a Wira sedan came from the right signaled to the left. Both of them nearly collided but a motorcycle didnt manage to escape and it fell. It happened right in front of my very eyes. If I were to drive a bit faster, I wouldn't manage to brake on time and I may have hit the 2 Indonesian guys..
I swerved to the left and headed to Putrajaya with a rapid thumping heart.. Sorry mate, couldn't stop to help. Arriving only a minute late. I would've arrived on time if this stupid car didn't take my parking spot.Again, #$%^&*((&%$!!!!!
It's only Monday and this is definitely not a good start..
Am taking leave tomorrow. Sis Yanti will arrive from Oz early tomorrow morning. I miss her so much. And I have so much to share with her.. And I miss my dear nephew, Shaqil. I miss having tiny people around the house..
I wish I can take leave for a week...

Things I hate about myself..
I get myself into trouble because this big fat mouth of mine. I like to talk, and many of times, words were spoken out without the mind doing the thinking.. And many hearts were hurt.. I've tried to be extra careful with every word I was about to say but I ended up talking less. When I did think too much, I didn't feel like talking at all.. I tried to listen more but I ended having monologues and I heard nothing from the other party. My mind will wandered around while the other party kept on talking.. In the end, I'm not being the chatty ol' me..
I used to be a girl with a vengeance. I wanted people to hurt like how I was hurt. I stayed silent when people were saying their sorry. I wanted them to suffer begging for my forgiveness. But as I grew older, nothing is more satisfying than having to hear people said their sorry..
I learned that it takes a lot of guts to utter that simple word. Saying sorry shows how remorseful and miserable they feel. And I don't feel the needs to say anything else because deep inside their hearts, they've learned the lesson. The hatred surrounded my heart melted like the ice under the hot sun when people delivered that word especially when it came from the one I love so dearly. I needed to say nothing more.
As much as I hate seeing people begging for my forgiveness, I wish not to put myself in that place. Begging is for slaves and I am no slave. I didn't say that 5-letter-word if I didn't feel the grief. The word were expressed when I really, really meant it. I had learned the lesson and I prayed not to repeat it. And even if I did, it was unintentionally. Accept me for who I am. People make mistake because none of us is perfect..
It's Sunday and at Putrajaya
This is my 2nd time here. The 1st was last Friday when Mr.Joe had to stay back so he brought me here while he did his work and I was busy snapping pictures. His office is huge. Boleh buat sideroll 5 pusingan badan. Tapi kerusi die tak best, keras. Sangat tak selesa untuk tido.
Ah, bosannye..
I brought my work along.. Daa, I'm off to do my work too..

"Huh?"
"Spaghetti"
"Tak pedas ke. Pastu cam manis sangat tak?"
"Ok je. Sedap. Tq baby"
hihihihihi.. Senyum meleret sengsorang baca sms..
Mr.Joe cakap tak sedap, konfem aku merajuk kan.. heeee
Play cook #2
Anyway, I am now eating my breakfast cooked by myself. *clap hands* Yup, I woke up early and made my own and Mr.Joe's breakfast for 2 days already.. Ma and Pa went to Perak on Monday to send Bro Wan for his interview at UTP and stayed overnight.. And they arrived late last night.
Today is spaghetti.. I cooked spaghetti last night for my dinner and I heated it this morning.. But my spaghetti is very pedas. I innovated the recipe and put in cili padi to make it extra hot. However it turned out extra peri-peri hot.. I like it tapi mesti Mr.Joe merah2 telinga masa makan.. hee..
When it comes to cooking, I am truly, deeply, extremely malas. 2years back, before Kamini, (Sis Yanie's maid) came, I was only malas. I still cooked a little bit everyday. But now, it's so severe.. I only cooked when there's nothing to eat or Ma fell sick and she cant cooked. only then I'll cook. On the normal ground, I just help Ma in the kitchen....doing the cleaning thing..heee
Give me all the cleaning work to me, I'll make it squeaky clean but if you gave me a ladle and a cooking pot, ah, that's when I'll scratch my head yang tidak gatal.
Talking about spaghetti, I remember at Suzy's wedding, Akmal and I were discussing about how expensive to get married these days and Akmal said, "Why cant we have spaghetti served during the wedding, I'm sure it'll be much cheaper"
I think so tooo :)

Meetings and food
When we ordered meehoon, you can see huge prawns. As for dessert, expensive and colourful fruits like grapes, kiwi, cherry, mango and dragonfruit. Ah, really mouth watering I tell you. Tak makan rugi and some of the members of the meeting can manage to eat 2 plates. However, today was a disaster when the person in charged accidentally forgot to place the order.
I freaked-out this morning..
What to do, what to do and kept calling Mr.Joe.
Relax.
Relax. Mr.Joe said.
In the end, we were served sandwiches, cold samosa and a plate of honeydew. Ordered from the cafe downstairs.
The moment I stepped into the meeting room,
Suraya, what is this. Mana meehoon or nasi goreng..
Aiyak.. You came here for meeting or to eat???
Well, everyone must be so hungry because the meeting ended with empty plates on the table. Hmm, the brains must be working so hard preparing for Datuk's meeting..

Short story
Jadi saja gatal snap gambar meja ofis yang menjerit-jerit kecil menyuruh saya buat 5S.
Gara-gara terlewat keluar minit mesyuarat, maklum balas tak mendapat sambutan. Lantak lah (Boleh tak camtu?)
Sebab semua orang dah nak balik, saya terpaksa keluar ofis jugak. Banyak sangat cerita seram berlaku kat ofis Aras 4 tu. Pack2 barang, tunggu Mr.Joe kat luar sambil main Diner Dash dalam handphone.
Tiba2, hujan turun, masuk balik tunggu kat sofa lobi utama bersama driver2. Lantaklah (lagi sekali) dan continue main Diner Dash.
Aiyo, dah nak pukul 7 ni. Sms Mr.Joe jap, Chairman tak solat ke, ayat bisa-berbisa. Ntahlar diorang ni .
Mendengus2 sambil main Diner Dash balik. Beberapa minit kemudian, dah bosan main Diner Dash. Dah bergerak 1 level yang sangat susah.
Apelar start meeting pukul 5.30. Merampuih2 saya menunggu Mr.Joe. Tak marah Mr.Joe, marah Chairman meeting die. Sian Mr.Joe, kejap2 sms,
-Ok tak tu?
-Tunggu kat dalam tau, jangan tunggu luar.
-Jap nak abis dah.
-Jap nak abis dah.
-Jap nak abis dah. (Bape kali daaaa)
Pukul7.30, dah gelap. Hujan turun lebat, kilat, guruh.
Mr.Joe tepon. "Dah abis dah"
Then, baru teringat Bro Wan soh bawak balik cop. Camne nih, taknak masuk sorang2. Malas nak tunggu Mr. Joe temankan.
Cis, ofis gelap gelita. Takut, berlari2 ke tempat suis lampu. Berlari2 ke cubicle, ambil cop n berlari2 tutup suis. Fuh, selamat keluar dari ofis tanpa sebarang weird encounter.
Keluar2, Mr.Joe dah menunggu kat luar lobi.
Dah amik cop ker?
Dah. Terus berlalu masuk kereta konon2 merajuk sebab kena tunggu lame.
Hehe.
Tapi tak merajuk lama pun. Masa nak solat Maghrib kat Surau Presint 16, Mr.Joe hampir jatuh tergelincir kat surau. Tak tahan nak gelak lar.. heeee
Shopaholic
Anyway, I like to spend money when April lurks in. It's like pampering myself for my birthday. So I bought a camera, some clothes and this expensive book from Reader's Digest. I love the book so much. I will put an entry about it later.
Oh well, I wish Malaysia is like US or most of the Europe countries where you can shop and return the item to get your money back if you didn't like the item you bought. Car*efour is doing it. I returned items many of times and I got a full refund. Ju*co is implementing it too but you have to exchange with other item and it wont give money refund.
If only all the shops in Malaysia are implementing it, I'll wear new clothes every week.
I'm free..
It was a good experience listening to all the top guns discussing serious matters regarding the Ministry. I get to know 1st hand all the latest news. I get to learn how all these JUSAs and 54s counter-act bombastic questions from Mr.Chairman. I observed all these bosses and for 3 months now, I respect some but I was disappointed with several as well. If this is my core job, I dont mind doing it. I get to eat VIP's food during the meeting and hearing Mr.Chairman addressing me as Cik Suraya as if I'm a very important person there.
Well, I have my core job to attend to.. DPA 2/2008 will be over in 2 weeks. And I'm relieved. I will have time to "5S" my cubicle. Seriously, it looks like jungle of papers in here..
I heard someone told me that when a PTD reaches M52, he/she needs to decide whether he wants to specialize in management or finance. I'm deciding now, I want to do finance. I love controlling money.. ($$$$$$$$)
~ The bosses must be cursing me now. Next meeting is on Monday morning. I sent the minutes this morning and the maklumbalas are to be sent before 5 today.. hehehe..

Dgn kamera baru..
Makin lama makin banyak fail.. Tak sabar nak dapat bilik.. Renovation dalam proses..
~Dapat Menteri sama... Dedi Izanee dapat balik Menteri nya.. Ihik
New toy
So I bought a new gadget today!!
While the seller is walking towards her sanctuary, I'm blogging an entry. I was thinking whether I should or should not upload the photo of my sweet seller.. hehehehe
I'm so happy because it was a very2 good deal and it came from someone very dear..
You can come n visit it ok..
Back to work Yaya and stop meddling with that new toy.. You have all the time in the world later when you get back from work..
Anyway, I'm having second thoughts on buying C902 now. What's the point of paying 5MP camera for a handphone if you already have a good camera eh?
2-3months used C902 are selling around RM650 to RM700.. Hmm, I'm letting Mr.Joe to decide since he's paying for it.. hee..
The price of gold closed at RM100.89/gram on 7th April.. Can't you go any lower??
~My digi camera is so cute!!!

Gone
For 25 years, I have never left home more than a month.I have never felt the sadness of leaving home for months or maybe years.. And no one has ever cried of not having me at home for a long period of time..
Yaya's always at home. She's like the home guardian. Everyone comes and goes but she stays..
Therefore, I sometimes wonder, how's it like not having me at home. What if I suddenly gone. Will anyone misses me...

Blamed
But when they're under stress, that's when you can see them at their ugliest side.
They tend to blame others, put other people's pants on fire as long as they're safe. I say these people are cowardice.. too bad, the world has so many of them..
Food is heaven..
And now, I can't hardly bring myself to do even a 30 minutes Trim Your Body Fat Zones and I ate like a p**. I hate my big fat tummy and the difficulties to put on my pants (the pants when I was slimmer). Man I'm so fat.. 2 weeks ago, my Ministry did this BMI thing and my BMI increases by 2.3. Yeah, still in normal range but I want my old BMI.
I love food and I hate to see food wasted and thrown inside the bin. You can asked Mr.Joe, there wasn't a time that I'd never finished my meal. I think this may be one of the reason why I cant cut down my calorie intake.
I can hear those tiny voices, "Eat all your food, eat all your food. The Palestinians live in hunger and you're wasting food. How selfish and ungrateful" each time I tried to leave all those food on the plate.
Getting married in 4 months, I really need to lose all these jigglies..hahaha.. And Mr.Joe joked at me about my tummy weighs 7kgs.. heh..
More money, haih...
If it's worth fixing, I'll fix it and cont using. If it's not, then I need to save monthly to buy a new one.. A DSLR? I still prefer a compact digital camera which I can put in my handbag or Mr.Joe pockets.
And I think I need to change my handphone immediately. I think the phone has trouble capturing signals making it annoyingly hard to reach..
Then Mr.Joe said: Nak camera ke Handphone utk hantaran ni??
Emmm, tak tahu nak respon ape.. hehehe.. sebab nak dua2.. heh
Abg Hadi, this is the answer to your ques:
iPhone is too expensivo lar.. I go for a fridge and I am now eyeing on SE C902.. That phone should be good enough for a non-IT-savvy like I am *wink*
It's now April
March was a busy month for me.. Had to organize a 5 day workshop at PD.. Alhamdulillah everything went well. It was a good experience for me.. Running back and forth wearing 3 inches heels organizing 72 participants .. gila!
Anyway, TBR isn't a good place to do a workshop or courses.. Family day, yes but other than that which only needs rooms and seminar hall, better find other hotels which don't include maintenance fee for it's big swimming pool on the bill..
I was not satisfied with lots of things especially when the employees were bickering so near to us and we cant help but listen to them. If you want to blame each other, please do it somewhere else and not at 2metres away from your customers.. It made us feel so uncomfortable..
Mama and Bro Wan came on the 3rd day and we enjoyed ourselves in the pool, playing Frisbee and experienced fish spa. Well, I just realize that my hydrophobia is getting worse when I cant even dive at all. I got panic when there's so much water on my face. I tried to swim but I cant.. I was so scared of the water even though it was only at waist high.
Mama really enjoyed fish spa. She screamed a bit when the fish first touched her feet and everyone near us came to watch. heh.. But after a while, she likes it so much and she did fish spa again the next day. The fish were huge! Not the tiny little thing we see hear in KL..
So, I am now back at the office. There's a new PSU reporting when we were all at PD.. He's stationed in the Unit that takes care of TKSU(K)'s monthly meeting.. It's time for me to give back this task.. Ah, I can't wait to get myself free from this thing..

Online shopping, lalalala..
And I already bought 4. Promise, no new clothes for 6 months! hehe..
Anyway, I was on e-Bay like every 3hours checking on their newest products. And I realize that everytime the items ended with no bidding at all, they will add on ebay again. Some may reduce the price and some just remain the same (a shop owner usually remains the same price even how many times they displayed the items). So, if you were eyeing on certain items (not a shop owner's item), no one's bidding it and you think it's too expensive, then you should just wait. The owner may reduce the price when she displays it on e-Bay again.
My boss bought an iPhone. Having a new toy, she kept on showing me on how high tech the phone is.. Yeah, it's seducing me on having one.. Then Abg Hadi bought a Blackberry.. Korang ni memang ar menggoda.. I kept on saying to meself, I don't need a 2K handphone, I need a humongous fridge to put all those ready-to-eat frozen foods once I have my own home..hee

The motivation
Dear Suraya,We called our mentor Ms. Veni. She is in the communication programme. Forever busy and I only met her twice. Therefore she asked us to write to her a genuine feeling about DPA and the impact on us.
First of all please apologize for my delayed response. I was on leave and attending a course.
I must say I was very impresses with your casual yet very genuine and frank thoughts on the question I had post to you.
Well, girl you have the right attitude to be in the service and most importantly to be a good human being. I am glad with the progress you have made both in your course as in your personal life. My sincerest best wishes to you.
I hope this inner spirit and attitude will not only prevail but also be nurtured and groomed in the future. I am certainly positive, you will make not only your dad but also your friends proud in your achievements. I am certainly very proud of your standings at this moment.
Keep up the good work and keep on having the positive outlook.
May the good lord bless you.
See you around soon!
I like DPA. I don't mind doing it again, with same old crowd of people but without the sideroll thing please =)
Reminiscence
Saya penat, teramat penat.
Namun, saya bukan insan sempurna.

Hate getting sick..
When I was in school, whenever I got sick, Ma will force me to go see the doctor. I hate going to the clinic before and I still hate going to the clinic now. If I refused going to the clinic, then I have to go to school (dengan maksud tersirat nya, I can't pretend being sick and making excuses to skip school). And I always ended up going to school instead eventhough I was not well.
But school is different. If you were sick, you can lie down at the room for sick people and went home when the bell rang. I did that often in order to skip seeing the doctor. The friends will come visit bringing food during recess or in between classes.
In the working world, when you are not well, you have to take MC, meaning I have to see the doctor. Or else, I have to use my yearly leaves which is such a waste. So, I go to work. But I cant work. I feel dizzy, my throat hurts, I'm cold, I have running nose and the palms are sweating..
I know I'm the worse when I'm not well. I think most people are.
I read once in a book, but I can't remember which. 1 of the characters is a very happy girl whom always think good about other people. A positive thinker. Whenever one was being grumpy all the time or one wouldn't smile that day, she always make up excuses for them. "Maybe he has a rough day, maybe she's not well, maybe he just lost his job." It's one of her way not to think bad of others..
I wish people out there were like that including myself..
And I wish I were at home curling myself under the blanket on my comfy bed and drinking hot Milo..

They are getting smarter or....
Giler ah..
Teringat zaman Sis Yana and Sis Yanie SPM tahun '93, '94, sape dapat 9A1, masuk paper bergambar solo. Sekarang, if nak bergamba solo dalam surat khabar, buat surat khabar sendiri lah. Semua nak masuk surat khabar, tebal macam buku telefon nanti.
Masa call Bro Wan, tadi terharu pula saya atas kejayaan dia. Semalam muka toya tak lalu makan sebab risau dengan result nak dapat hari ni. Tadi, punye la ceria. Belum sempat tanya, "Ya, straight A's. Nak hadiah, nak hadiah!"
Cis..
superwoman getting sick..
Hari ini, eyeballs saya terasa panas, muka pun panas, kaki sejuk and badan rase panas berpeluh..
Saya tak ingat bila last time saya demam panas. Demam selsema tu lain.
Tobat, taknak kena denggi lagi.. Tu lar penyakit paling teruk saya pernah kena..
Tidur malam sentiasa berjage sebab mimpi ngeri. Kakak saya siap datang all the way dari Kelantan cucuk IV kat lengan.
Mungkin sebab kami berpakaian selebet. Bila Bro Wan kena admit, doctor ni dengan kerek nya cakap kat mak saya, "Wad kelas kedua and kelas ketiga dah penuh. Kelas pertama je ada. Boleh check dengan HKL if ada ward class 2 and 3 yang kosong" dengan nada macam mengejek. Tau lar kami berpakaian seperti orang kampung, muka selebet masa tu, ape ingat kami tak mampu ker? Lepas dari itu, Ma pun speakong cakap husband dia ex-senior govt officer and he's son entitled to 1st class ward. Lepas tu baru doctor tu start layan kami baik2.
Kenapa ada double standard pada rupa paras? Kami tak memperlekehkan you, kenapa you nak looked down on us? If orang yang kerek, you kerek balik, tak pe lar. Saya sokong.
Kesimpulannya, jangan biar diri anda digigit aedes. Kena denggi payah wey.. 100+ tu your best friend masa sakit.. Bila dah sembuh, jangan harap nak minum 100+ lagi..
Hidayah, anugerah terhebat Allah
Helo, if betul saya saudara baru, saya kecik hati tau..
Ko nak buat taik, ko buat sorang la, jangan babitkan agama tu sendiri.
Dah banyak negara2 Islam yang Allah jatuhkan bala. Tak mustahil suatu hari nanti adalah Malaysia. Bacalah qunut nazilah supaya dijauhkan bala kepada kita.
~Saya tak pandai agama. Cuma meluahkan apa yang saya rasa, apa yang saya tahu.

"Saya kurus"
"Udah2 la tu cakap diri ko tu gemok Yaya.. If ko gemok, aku ni ape, obese"Oops, sori geng. Bukan niat saya nak menyinggung perasaan sesiapa. Tapi memang ternyata lemak tepu semakin bertambah.
Tahu tak dia ni sentiasa buat sit-up before tidur and masa tengok TV, burger dia plain tanpa mayonis (Mayo itu umpama kuman E.coli bagi nya), kalau dia tahu dia akan makan banyak, dia akan skip meal beforehand, masa kat DPA dia tak kisah pegi jogging sorang2 and sangat suka pergi swimming.
Saya suka dia.. Bila die cakap saya dah naik badan, straight bila balik rumah, saya akan buat exercise gila2 punya. Ayat die memang tajam menikam tapi saya masih suka kawan dengan dia. Orang cakap die sombong and sentiasa speaking memanjang, tapi saya tahu hati dia baik and jarang2 sangat dia badmouthed about other people.
Then, dia sekarang housemate dengan sorang minah ni yang memang giler2. Sokmo cakap aku da gemok. Dia ni kiut2 je saiz nya. Bubbly and friendly. sumorang die boleh geng and couldnt care less about people. Dia ni suka makan tapi housemate dia suka exercise. At 1st die cakap agak stress sebab bila die tengah makan, sorang ni tengah buat sit-up. Dah lame2, dah jadi immune.
Jika nak kira pada umur, mereka baya kakak saya (no offense). Tapi umur tak menjadi penghalang untuk 3 orang berkawan baik kan asalkan sehati-sejiwa?

~Jutt, agak2 kalau kita bertiga serumah, boleh ke kita influence Noni to eat like us? hehe

Sambutan Maulidur Rasul Kebangsaan 1430H
Today was the 2nd time celebrating something at national level. The 1st time was Merdeka Celebration. The weather was gloomy and it rained till afternoon. Then we saw Akmal which we ended up taking pictures and more pictures.

Hmmpphhhh..

Ooopss..
We were very fortunate that we came today because J*sco was giving RM10 voucher for every RM100 purchase on make-up and cosmetic. I bought the perfume set for both of us and I bought the handbag which I can't wait to use it.. (Sabar, lagi 5 bulan boleh pakai..)
The salesperson at the perfume counter commented that Ma and I are like friends rather that mother and daughter relationship base from the conversation we had with ourselves. Ah, ayat pancing..
Yes we are =)

Shopping
I tried this Pierre Cardin peep-toed heels.. So beautiful and very comfortable.. Pure leather.. I always bought those cheap PVC shoes which they ended up chap all over after quite some time.. And I think, once in a while, I should treat myself with something a bit more expensive, shouldn't I? Marmalade said this is the time to spend for the sake of the country's economic growth =) Mr.Joe said he'll buy that for the hantaran but he'll keep it until our wedding day. He said he cant trust myself for I might wear it before the wedding.. hehe.. Since I forgot to bring the Jusco card, we'll come again next week.
I still can't decide what kind of bag I want for the hantaran. But I know I dont want PVC anymore. Leather is worth buying. I am now wearing Ma's Bonia to work which she bought almost 30 years ago. It still looks new.. Kagum sebab beg tu still intact.. Ma pun bangga her daughter is wearing her bag =)
We went to watch Curious Case of Benjamin Button earlier. It's worth spending 3 hours in the cinema. I learned a lot from the movie. So glad I went to watch it with Mr.Joe.. One thing good about him is, he never once said anything bad about the movies I chose. I can be selfish and chose chick flicks everytime it's my turn to choose, but since he is so charming, I don't mind watching what he desires and he did the same to me.
Today is March 7.. InsyaAllah, 5months from now, I will be Mrs. Joe =)
We parted less than 2 hours ago, and I already miss him.. heee
